  1. Thanks, where would be the best place to find them?
  2. I’m waiting on mine it’s suppose to ship out at the end of the month.
  3. Give ben a call at the hook up tackle, he has spent time with a lot of the new p5 rods and can definitely help you out. He has videos on YouTube that talks about them as well. I was in the same boat wondering if I should keep my conquest 843c or get the x-bites, I spoke with ben and a few other guys that said sensitivity wise they are about the same but balance and build quality megabass wins. Also I was told even though rod ratings on the xbites say up to 1 ounce that 1/2 jig plus trailer is the max they would throw on it.
  4. Looking for options for a carbon fiber handle for the 2020 met, I know of hawgtech but looking for other options.
  5. Looks like I’m getting the aldebaran thanks!
  6. Which reel do y’all think would be better for jerkbait fishing? I have a new megabass Levante jerkbait rod that needs a new reel.
  7. I have the nrx 853 that I used specifically for senkos and it was perfect for it but I felt like 3/8 ounce jig and trailer would over power the rod so I decided to try the conquest 843c and it does both very well. I feel like it may not be as sensitive as the nrx but it does feel much more powerful and handles jigs/trailers with ease.
  8. I’m not sure man I’ll have to check mine when I get a chance.
  9. I’ve had mine over a month now and it’s definitely worth it over the last mgl, I haven’t tried a metanium dc but I have used the Curado dc and the new metanium outcasts both of them. It’s a solid smooth reel, effortless to cast and it palms better then any reel I’ve had. I use mine for chatterbaits/spinnerbaits and it will bomb those lures.
  10. I’ve been using the megabass daemos and it’s worked great for me. It’s a beautiful rod and very sensitive.
  11. The chronarch mgl is no slouch, I liked it better than the old metanium for certain techniques like crankbaits. But you will love the new metanium whenever you get one. I threw a bunch of different lures on it and they all felt great.
  12. I have both and if money isn’t an issue I would go for the new metanium. Retrieval wise they feel pretty close to me in smoothness but casting the new metanium is effortless. It casts farther and feels more solid then the chronarch mgl.
  13. You the man, I couldn’t figure out how to fix it.
  14. Nice! I was thinking of getting that rod for chatterbaits and spinnerbaits. Let me know how you like it.
