If you do open one you would have to open real close to the potomac river. Id say the best place would be near mattawoman creek abecause they have a really heavily used boat ramp. But your more upper potomac.

I have checked all the settings and nothing different. It is only a month old. Its always done it but It really just hit me that this reel should not be doing this..Ill deffinatly exchange it.I totally forgot to feel the reel in the box before i got it. Thanx for the advice everyone.

I am just wondering if I got a flawed revo stx. I cant cast it that far no matter what the settings and how hard I throw it. Also it has a little clicking noise when I reel. Should I get it exchanged.

I returned my curado because it had some backplay. The guy at BPS said all shimanos do. I might stay away from them for awile then.
