His reel does not have a serious a problem. I wouldnt send it back. If you dont use the brakes just remove them all. Problem solved. Also shiamno reels us the plastic brakes as well. This problem is getting way into detail then it should. Its kind of funny though. ;D

Yea its not even worth the 50$$ sale. The only reason why it cost over 50$$ is because its a st. croix. A BPS extreme on sale for 60 would be a better deal.

I have a 95 stratos but the live well drain swith is stuck on open so water wont stay in the livewell. I checked to see if something was jamming it but i couldnt see any thing. Any of you all know what else it coeld be?

Majority of all rods these days use plastic for there screw thing.
