How heavy are the swimbaits that you plan on throwing??? The zillion does handle some heavier baits alot better than other LP reels.

I think that the spinning gear is deffinatley the right choice for the weightless. If you could only get one set up for all of those then I think you got the right one. By the way I have a president and I am very satisfied with it.

Thanks thats good help. I dont block the hole. We would just find the same sized drill bit and drill the paint that got in out. That is a pain though. What do you do to keep the hole from getting paint in it.

Sometimes when me and my dad bake the jigs in the oven the paint like drips and creates a nub. We bake it at 350 degrees for 20 min. Are we doing something wrong. Heres a pic

Yea I have a couple. I think they are the most under rated rod in their line up. but then again thats OK because the prices are so good.

Braid also has a thinner diameter so you get more depth out of your cranks. But I still use mono.

I saw it. It seems like it would work pretty good to me. It basically becomes a texas rig.

Where do you get that reel for $300. I want to start getting some JDM reels. I realized that outside of fishing collecting reels is another hobby of mine.

I use the weights. I really like them. It basically pegs the weight and keeps the head of the worm from sliding down.
