  1. I should know more about this but I just can' remember right now. Didn't Pres. Nixon do something with the poppy fields back in the 70's that worked quite well?
  2. I had the Sabbath Bloody Sabbath cassette when I was about 9 yrs old. I listened to that tape at night to go to sleep, until I started having horrible nightmares. My dad made me throw it away when I started waking up screaming and my brother started sleep walking.
  3. Those are in every store down here in Florida.
  4. My fanny burps work pretty well as a repellent :'(.
  5. It depends. Here in S. Florida for saltwater on the Atlantic side it goes like this "wind from the west, stay home and rest" "wind from east, the fish will eat." I don't think it matters for freshwater though. I found the worse to be in all situations when there is wind NO wind and blue bird skies.
  6. Do you have this pre-typed somewhere so all you have to do is cut and paste? If not, then you should ;D ;D ;D
  7. I believe Nick had the lure last. Nick's last post was in April 2009 and he was last on-line in May. Nick seems to have dropped of the BR planet. This years BR lure fun has been a total disappointment, unlike last years that went very well.
  8. Depends. Using the trollig motor I'd say 40's. Running wide open with the motor then I'd say 50-60's.
  9. He changed his name from PeeWee to The Green Lizard. But he will always be known as PeeWee.
  10. Glenn, I could swear I still see Suzie Q's in my grocery store. I'll check for ya next time I go. None of mine are discontinued yet. Bluberry pop tarts, Little Debbie Swiss cake rolls and chocolate Ding Dongs.
  11. I LMAO the 1st time I watched this but felt bad for the squirell the 2nd time I watched it. I hope the little fella didn't get hurt. The link will take you to my Photobucket account so give it a minute to load.

How much is your deductible? You should have thrown in a couple Chronarchs and Calcuttas into the mix . (Just kidding people)
  13. We'll take my boat out this week if you want to go for some Snook. Check the tides and I'll try and take off work. Gas is free but you have to help spray the boat down in the car wash. I'll pay for the wash but you have to use the soap brush ;D.
  14. It's a waste of money buying flouro for punching through the thick stuff. #1- There is so much sht hanging from underneath the plants like roots, grass and muck that the fish aren't going to see your line. #2. most of the bites you get are going to be reaction bites. And #14 mono isn't gonna cut it. Like I said, if you're gonna use mono and be serious about this type of fishing then use #30-#40 mono.
  15. Dave, My flipping reel is about 8.5 ounces and my rod is about 7-8 ounces. My lightest baitcasting combo is; reel 5.6 ounces and rod between 3-4 ounces. The difference between the two is about 6-7 ounces which doesn't seem much. The part that gets you worn out is the pitching/flipping part. You lower back and shoulder blades will definitely need a rub down afterwards. I can use my flipping rod as a regular worm rod all day without any aches. But if I start flipping with it, then after about 2-3 hours of straight flipping I will feel the aches the next day.
  16. Na, face is the last thing you want. You can always cover the face. ;D ;D
  17. Nice fish. What were yall throwing and did yall go out of Belle Glade?
  18. Word, Dog! Don't you hate it when someone calls you "dog?"
  19. Not too bad for a one night stand. No body tone to her arms. No rump. Only thing going for her are the flotation devices.
  20. More is known about space then our oceans.
  21. maybe you should have been here when the thread started and you would know we aren't name calling anyone. The names we are calling him were his OWN CHOSEN screen names.
  22. HAHA, you read the same as article as I did? I was going to post it here also, lol. This has actually been a LONG time debate.
  23. I disagree that talent is overrated. But yes, I have reached and surpassed the 10k hour mark.
  24. Yes, for freshwater. All my rods are Loomis and all my reels are Shimano, except two. No and yes for saltwater. Most of my rods are custom built by me or someone else. All my reels are Shimano.
