  1. It's hotter than a coke can in a crack house. It's hotter than a bordello on nickel night.
  2. And are you still fishing?
  3. I don't know what "seasons" are since I live in Florida but my best/favorite times are from Nov- April. June, July, August and September are very productive months but the heat SUCKS. We caught about 30 bass today from 6pm-8:15pm but sweat our donkeys off. Miserably hot.
  4. I bought my 19tx from Bass Pro. I told them I could get the somewhere else for about $1200 less. They said (in a nice way) "go get it then." They said they sell enough boats at the listed price without having to haggle with a customer. I bought from them because the boat that was cheaper was like 4 states away.
  5. Exactly! Whats up with kids now a days not knowing what to do? Transplant me in any town, city and I'll find some skirts to chase around.
  6. Just another reason why GM S U C K S !!
  7. Isn't Gelati different then ice cream? And why are you even on this thread talking about ice cream, aren't you dieting?
  8. HAHAHA, that"s great. I read the title and thought to myself "who the heck still gives worthless ties for Father's Day!"
  9. Looks like it's going to be full of awesome gore , I'm not too sure about Pitt trying to talk like a southerner though.
  10. I better get to the doctor for a check up. To think you and I think the same has to be the sign of some kind of illness.
  11. Just grab her right behind the gills and tongue her down. Nothing wrong at all swapping spit with a girl who just gave you some pleasure.
  12. My best score is 31 http://www.heavygames.com/islandminigolf/playgame.asp
  13. Will be 91 tomorrow here in S. Florida with humidity pushing 80%. Will feel like 100.
  14. That was great!
  15. My rods don't go in the back of my truck. Dogs, wife, girlfriends, sod and beer cans perhaps, but not my rods. They go inside the truck with me.
  16. Like SirSnookaLot said, Florida is the fish capital of the world for saltwater. BUT, there are MANY bass fisherman and clubs here in S.Florida. If you don't see them then you aren't looking.
  17. I have always been a lite tackle fisherman, meaning I like to use the lightest line I can get away with. For example; When I go Grouper fishing in the Tortugas I use #30 mono for my main line and #40 mono for a leader. Sometimes I use no leader at all. When I go Snook fishing I usually use #15-#20 main line and 25#-30# mono leader when using artificial. If I'm Snook fishing for dinner then it's "game on" and I'm using straight 60# mono with live bait. I see some people use "ultralite" rod and reel for Bass but use #10-#20 braid and then say they were targeting big fish with ultralite gear. IMO, this is not ultralite because they are using heavy braid. When I want to target Bass using ultralite gear then I consider #2-#4 mono to be ultralite, #6 mono tops. I would also agree to use a small #6 mono leader with the #2 and #4, especially if fishing around structure. I believe ultralite is geared more towards small line rather than small rods and reels. Does anyone have a different outlook?
  18. Looking at your pictures is like looking at National Geographic, simply awesome. Those red ears are huge. Did someone spill steroids into the lake? ;D
  19. FORD TRUCKS Finally, a valid and verifiable claim by a truck manufacturer that clearly shows his truck is superior to all the competition. Read it and weep all you Chevy, GMC, Dodge, International, Toyota and any other truck guys. Here's positive proof that Ford trucks are built TOUGH (Scroll way down)
  20. For me, in S. Florida, it starts at 7 pounds. Anything less is a "fun, nice" day. 9-10 pounds gets a high five and bragging rights. 11-13 pounds gets talked about for a couple weeks. 14 and up gets mounted (replica)
  21. IMO, when it comes to fishing, bigger is better than looks. I'd prefer the ugly skinny girl.
  22. Well, considering this is a fishing site and I'm a fisherman, I would NEVER lie about my rod
  23. What sounds embellished?
  24. whoever you are. I was at Dick's Sporting Goods today buying a few odds and ends. I noticed two ladies (mom and daughter, quality) fingering every rod on the racks, obviously clueless about fishing. I hear the daughter tell the mom "maybe he can help us", referring to me. They proceed to tell me they want to buy a rod and reel for their husband/dad but don't know which to buy. I asked them if he fished saltwater or fresh. Mom replies "salt." I asked if he preferred spinning or baitcasting. Neither mom or daughter had any clue whatsoever what I was talking about. I asked what their budget was and mom replied around 60-80 dollars. I asked if that was for the rod or total for both. Then the daughter asked if a long rod was better than a short rod? But the way she asked had me chuckling :-?. I told her I prefer at least a 7 footer. She then asked "isn't it hard to walk around with such a long rod all day?", and kind of smiled. ... It took every bit of professional courtesy I could muster up to prevent myself from taking this conversation any further. The mom told me it was a father's day gift and birthday gift combined. I told the mom it wasn't fair to give husband/dad only one gift to cover two holidays and should consider a nice Shimano baitrunner reel to go along with a rod I picked out for them. This would have set them back about $225 but mom wouldn't do it. Mom said he only fishes maybe 3-4 times a year. I found an Uglystick combo for $59 and explained this would be the best deal she will find. Mom then gave me two coupons for $10 off any purchase over 50 bucks. I ended up spending 100 bucks :'(. Anyway, I tried to get whomever a super sweet combo for father's day but just couldn't pull it off.
