It is a pretty cool reel for the price. Looks nice as well. I'm a big quantum guy, it seems like they are replacing the accurist with the icon but I could very well be wrong.

What did you do exactly? Oiled the bearings? Or did you take the reel apart?

Well we have a lot of toothy fish up here so I was hoping I could get a little heavier lb test to give me a little more of an edge. But I've got some 12lb I can spool up.

I'm thinking I'm going to use it as a jerkbait reel, trying to decide if I want to use 15lb fluro or 30lb braid with a leader...

Live target has a sweet looking gizzard shad lioness crank, very realistic and knocks hard

One three has a pretty cool cranking rod in their *** series, I have one for my deeps and it's relatively inexpensive! Plus the look of the rod is actually really awesome

Looks awesome! Fishing shouldn't have to cost 1000 bucks, its just all the fancy gear and lures really pull us in haha

What lake is it? I heard there's a lake out there called crystal lake I think and there's some guy swimming around in it with a machete, you could be hooking up on him and he's cutting you off. Jokes Maybe you are running your line over some zebra mussels and they are chopping it up?
