If you have to stack washers, is it okay to go over the OE spec? By a few mm. Also, should you grease them to stop them from wearing against each other?

I use the exact same weights except I use stainless steel weights and if I don't coat them with nail polish ill put a clear coat on them to prolong the weight from the water if they don't dry off well. Even though they are stainless they still rust, so a nice coating of clear coat will help. I get the wire from jansnetcraft and I found jeweler pliers at Wal-Mart in the near section. If you want I can send you a few pictures or videos on what I use and how I do it. To be honest, its really fun.

I'm pretty handy if I do say so myself, its about 140 bucks at my tackle shops here so price isn't an issue, the current battery I use is a small 12v that I have for my gps I forget the AH but I probably need a bigger one if I wanted to run both, or I may pick up another one and run them both on one circuit for the motor and gps

Its the pelican catch 120, ill have to do some research, I'm in Ontario and I don't think you need to register any boat with a gas motor if its below 10hp. Its got a 400lb weight cap so -200 from me and another 50 for gear that leaves me with 150 for the battery and motor

Going to put a trolling motor on the kayak, would that Minn kota 30lb thrust work fine?

Well seems like we have a good starting point, 5 guys so far. I'm in for hair jigs and inline spinners, I tie everything myself and come up with my own inline spinner designs. I'd post pictures but they are too large.

I use clear nail polish hardener or a clear coat when tying my trebles. Works great for feathers but you might want to try a clear super glue to hold it more in place if its not at the desired angle.

Stopped off at a tackle shop on lunch and found both brand new curado 200G for $175 canadian ($135 USD) and core 100mg for $385 canadian ($295 USD). I'm curious to see if that's a good price for either of them and if lots worth picking one up.

To wrap the mono/wire for the weed guard? If so I like to use size 6 and 3 for pretty much everything, I like thicker for dressing my treble hooks and the smaller size for tying hair jigs and skirts on my jigs.

Sorry to laugh. Reminded me when I got my brand new car and went to wipe some dust on the instrument cluster and scratched the clear plastic. 5 years later I till haven't forgiven myself for that.

Just picked up the combo for the GF, curious to know what the reel is based off of? Its the new white and gold reel.

I just picked up the carbonlite 2.0 rod and reel combo, rod feels great and the reel is nice. What is it based off of? The lews LSF or the MB?
