  1. Right now, not sure. But between Dobyns themselves and another site they go on sale here and there.
  2. Sierra 734. Micro guides unless you're using a leader. Such an amazing rod for that price point (especially on sale).
  3. I like them well enough. Very nice baits that produce. But there's a reason the 110's get so much hype.
  4. Memorial Day will be 15% off. And right now you can get gift cards for 10% off. So if you get a gift card, and wait til Memorial Day, that's essentially 25% off.
  5. I have Lucky Craft jerkbaits, lipless crankbaits and squarebills. As well as other higher priced baits from Megabass, Jackall etc. And I still find myself throwing Strike King KVD 1.5's and Red Eyed Shad's just as much as the others.
  6. Ah yes, how'd I leave this out.
  7. No, it's a Siebert Outdoors Shot Caller.
  8. 3.8 Keitech Fat Impacts work well. As does the X-Zone Swammer. Gambler EZ Swimmer and EZ Vibe are also great paddle tail trailers. As others have said, the Rage Menace is great. But you could also check out the Z-Man Goat. Similar to the Menace but will last longer. You can rig it vertically to mimic or horizontally like this to keep it a little higher in the water column.
  9. Just wanted to wish my second family...my "home" away from home...a happy and joyous holiday season. This is the best place on the internet. Glenn and every one of you are truly appreciated! Here's to everyone breaking their PB in the upcoming year!
  10. This happened to me as well (credit card, not debit). My previous 3 transactions on the card were to TW. Coincidence? Who knows?
  11. Like the other fellas said, it doesn't work anymore. But there is a new one. What you have to do is first go to your cart. Now, you see that bag of green pumpkin Trick Worms you have sitting in there? Remove it from your cart. Voila!!! $5 off!
  12. Just a heads-up for Bluebasser and others who are fans of the Provoke. 6th Sense finally came out with a deep diver. I'm surprised it took them so long.
  13. My northern WI friends do. I'm more towards the southern end. A few lakes have a thin layer of ice on them.
  14. Wanna hear about my winter struggle? I have ice forming on my lakes!!
  15. No, not always. If I'm fishing in shallower water and wanna keep the bait up higher in the water column I'll usually rig them horizontally.
  16. Good thread. I've been wanting to start a thread for a bit now called Tackle Porn or something like that. I just love looking at baits. Unique or otherwise. I don't know how many times I'll pair a bait with a trailer and just think "oh man, that looks beautiful". I take lots of pictures of my baits, mainly for a reminder down the road if a bait does well for me. But to me they're also a work of art that I just like admiring. Anyways, after click on this thread and seeing your pic, I thought 'that looks quite familiar'. I went back in my picture archives from a few years ago and found this. This Siebert's Shot Caller swim jig rigged up with a Z-Man Goat worked as well as it looks for me this past season. And the Shot Caller with a Rage Menace. Siebert's tungsten jigs with Netbait Paca Chunks.
  17. I'm all for new techniques etc. But this is just trying way too hard just to be "innovative" IMO.
  18. I really like these (in the straight nose version). Nice and long for when the occasional pike decides to swallow my lure. https://www.boomsfishing.com/products/fishing-pliers-ptfe-plated-stainless-steel-f05
  19. It is 2-toned a little bit. They say there's a green tint, but I have a hard time seeing it. To me it just looks like a lighter black/gray. Now maybe in the sun it'd be different, but I've yet to have it outside. If you're wondering if it's match up with, lets say, a rod with red or blue accents I think it would. Maybe someone else can weigh in. Everybody sees things a little differently.
  20. Talking about swimbait size...
  21. I guess "bigger" means something different to everyone. I do think it can easily handle baits up to 4 oz. I have no problems throwing an Arashi Glide with the 200.
  22. What FryDog said. The 200 is also a good reel for a-rigs, bigger swimbaits etc. If you're more on a budget, the CT has always been a real solid all-around reel too.
