Is it just me or what. In the last 24 hours or so I have received about 15 or so e-mails from people I don't know. Is this happening to anyone else? It's like the telemarketers have been turned lose. They either use my full name or frogtog in the e-mails.

You will need some thing to warm your hands with quick because your hands or going to be numb. This torch lights with one click of the finger. These are a must on a boat in the winter months. I take a 6" piece of rope and tie knots in it and tie it to my back seat poll. If you weigh 200 pounds you are going to need something to grab hold of to help pull you out, grabbing hold of a fiberglass boat just doesn't work, it's to slippery. I also keep a auto lighting propane torch in my boat ( about $19.95 at any hard ware store ) Please keep your Life Vest on at all times. Extra clothing, flight plan and plenty of coffee. If you want to know what it is like to fall out of a boat in 50 degree water, just go to the gym and grab 200lb of weight and try to but it over your head. Then imagine doing it wet and cold. Remember to keep your rods etc out of the way so you won't stumble over them. So be Safe out there this winter.

Evidently you have never had a group of Matthews come to your door. When they arrive at Christmas, they just come right on in and start eating and going through the presents to see if they have one. I can just picture you standing at the back door trying to get some of them to take those frozen Hollie branches.

This could be come a problem for people with the recessed foot pedal. The other day while fishing in the rain, I throwed a used lizard on the deck floor. It some how got into the recessed drain. It filled up with water and shorted my trolling motor out and I had to take the leads of my batteries and couldn't use the trolling motor the rest of the day. How ever it did dry in a couple days and went back to working. Just thought I would pass this on down the line. I'm thinking about putting some rolled up screen wire or something to keep this from happening again.

Heck all any country has to do to invade the USA is just come on over. Heck we will even pay for their food, insurance, clothing, send them to school and give them more rights than we have. Then after about three generations they can run for president, congress or senator and we can't even stop them. ( I go to thinking some times and scare myself )

In order to get non highway taxes back you must get a form ( in NC it is a non highway tax form ) Then you have to keep up with " ALL " your fuel that you use. This includes your vehicles also. Any fuels that you use other than for highway use you can recover the highway use tax that they charge you when you buy it. This includes but not limited to lawn mowers, boats, weed whackers etc. It's not as easy as it sounds. You have to keep up with your receipts and mileage on your vehicles and they will audit you! they checked me this year. Most of the time I will get back anywhere from $800 to $1600 per year and this helps a lot. Some states have higher gas taxes than NC does. If you do a lot of fishing I would recommend you keep up with it.

I've had to give up everything ( hunting, golf, drinking etc ) to fish.

Claimed about 4400 last year. I got back .22 cent per gal on non highway taxes.
