Thanks for the help. What I have is a small landscaping and lawn maintenance business. I built this business from the ground up in the past 30 years with a lot of hard work. I now see along the way I made some serious mistakes that I can't go back and undo. I never worried about Ins. because my wife always took care of it. I hate to just let the business go down hill, but with the economy like it is it would be almost impossible to sell it. There is no way it can survive without me. ( just my opinion ) There is two things that's going to happen to me in the future, I'm either going to have a double lung transplant or death. Never thought I would end up like this. I have talked to several attorneys and none had any answers. One even told me to put everything in my wife's name and file for divorce and apply for DSS. I think there is help out there and I just haven't found yet. With 25000 members on BR someone will come up with something I'm sure. Lets try to keep politics out cause I need all the advice I can get. When things get tough the tough go fishing.

Do we have a disability attorney in the house? Need to know about Disability and Owning a Business. After wife retires I will not have any Insurance and no one will take me own. I will have to apply for disability so I can get Medicare. I went to the Social Security Board and I guess I shouldn't have wore the suit, didn't get anywhere. just didn't fit their criteria I guess. ;D I'm in trouble. :
  6. That's the way it has always been for me. I just like being on the water. When I'm tournament fishing I think it's the before and after that means the most, just being with my friends and shooting bull.
  7. The Chowan, Roanoke, Salmons Creek, Pembroke Creek and Cashie are all great fisheries. Every year around late March to early April the Bass will migrate to Bachelor Bay and the Albemarle sound to spawn. If the sound is clear they will bed in 8 to 10' of water. If it is murky they will move shallow. It's at this time of year you can really have some fun. I'm not saying if you go to the sound you will catch fish, but they use certain places year after year. After the spawn they will move back into the rivers and creeks. An come early fall they will move to the sound again when the bait fish start moving up the rivers. Then when the water temps reach around 48 degrees they will head back to the river and creeks. It's a river system that doesn't take you long to fall in love with, I know because I fell for it 40 years ago.
  8. I can relate to the caffeine. LOL
  9. Well after 43 years with Sprint my wife has decided to retire. She said she was doing it for me in my time of need. ;D I told her this was good, now you can help me, and she said help you do what? Well I just blurted out ( what ever I tell you to do ) and that's when the fight started. For some unknown reason she now wants to start fishing with me. :-/ I guess life is starting to improve for me already. This should be an on going story.
