  3. Matt, Jersey has you beat on both population density and property taxes. We are still #1 http://www.worldatlas.com/aatlas/populations/usadensityh.htm Ronnie Ouch.... thanx for the link...good info there.
  4. You guys should come visit Rhode Island. Smallest State in the Union with the highest population density. Some of the highest taxes in the country too. And people want to know why we're so miserable up here.... :
  5. LMAO, I thought it was pronounced "Hoowah"
  6. Does this conform with UPS appearance standards? You know we have conservative customers with conservative values right? :
  7. I'm going fishing no matter what. We will just cut corners elsewhere. I'm fortunate enough to live 2 miles from work, so the weekdays don't kill me. I've thought about riding my bike to work now that it's getting nice out. During WW2 my great grandfather would ride his bike to work, and ration his gas coupons so that he could go fishing on the weekends.
  8. Shirley Muldowney might disagree
  9. There were only 7 cars left running at the end of the race......
  10. Thanx Alan! As far as jig selection and colors for this time of year in New England, these are my thoughts. I make no claims to be an expert, but since really learning the art of the jig last year(and catching that pig last weekend) I think I have it almost figured out. Right now, the water is still in the mid to upper 50's so I like a smaller jig...1/8 oz to 1/4 oz. I really like the finesse jigs, anything in a natural color (green pumpkin, browns, reds, blacks and blues... depending on water clarity) I will at times add a bit of color to the trailer with some Spike It. I have found that this time of the year, it is best to be patient and work the bait slowly. However, once you catch that first one, you need to remember what you were doing and how the fish bit the bait. Then you can start putting the rest of the puzzle together. It's a trial and error thing, but once you start producing, you won't want to put it down....then wait until late spring and summer when the bass will absolutely crush a 3/8 or 1/2 oz jig like a Mack truck. I really learned alot by fishing with guys like Tin and LBH, sometimes going out for the day with someone will improve your confidence and skill level. Hope that helped....
  11. By NE, do you mean Nebraska?
  12. How's that old saying go? You just can't polish a turd......
  13. True, works with most animals. My old man shoots crows and strings 'em up. Keeps all the other crows out of the blueberry patch.
  14. Solution.... Yo Zuri Hybrid Ultrasoft 12#. I have it on my Revo SX and love it.
  15. Pretty close resemblance....I do need a shave...

  19. I really dig the Stanley Jigs. They come pre rigged with a trailer so you won't have to waste to much time learning which trailers to try. They are pretty much good to go out of the package....
  20. Fogs rollin' in.... time to head for a safe harbor of refuge.
