They probably all ended up in peoples bellys! This happend in spain last year in lake i fished! The fish were biting like crazy for a couple of weeks and people kept every single fish they caught! There are now only very few bass left.

I'm having the same problem right now! I see some spawned out fish around but they wont bite only the odd one. I think it will get better in a couple of weeks. There is probably just to much food around.

I thought the same thing. These bass seem to be to small to have reached maturity. Maybe they're only practising for next year or they were gay bass! ;D ;D ;D ;D

I'm surprised that thing was still alive! I have seen very skinny bass in lakes where there is very little food due to water shortage but that fish tops them all. Must be sicks but if he took the bait it might be recuperating.

That's a long but fairly thin fish so my guess is about 4.5lbs.

There are times that they only hit swimming jerkbaits so try both ways until you find out what the fish want. There are also times when they hit crankbaits fished like jerkbaits.

Use spinning tackle for small cranks!
