They will not even take spinnerbaits, dont ask me why?

At last!
Very few fish are beeing caught even from boats. The one's that are beeing caught is with small softplastics fished slow. I did good in january and february and i thought it was going to get better. The air temp dropped from the 70's to the 50''s so i think that's why fish are difficult to catch. This lake is weird because i see bass in shallow water one day the next day their gone. The one in the pic i caught in 3 feet of water which is strange at this time of year. The spawn starts around may until july.

Most of the fish are beeing caught on the sabertail bug (samurai hawg in japan) at the moment. Ecogear bug ants and rock claw also seem to work as well as the yum craw papi. I seen the japenese guys cut the sabertail und then glue the segments together to make a larger bait. I have not tried that yet since the bass are only taking very small lures. Hardly any are beeing caught on moving baits like spinnerbaits, jerkbaits and crankbaits since the temp. drop. The water temp. is still 46-48. Are you catching any, Vyron?

Just lie like the rest of us!! ;D Seriously, that's a nice bass (4-5 maybe?). How long was it? -Fisher No measurement. The biggest bass ever caught in this lake was about 7.5 (northern strain) They just dont seem to get bigger. It's a glacier lake with very deep water and alot craws and minnows in it. The bass were brought here after the second world war by american soldiers from italy. After they were stocked there was no re-stocking done so this is a very old population. They refuse to restock the lake (invasive species) but i think it's time for some new blood. This would be a perfect lake for smallies! Maybe you guys can send me some of those california beauties over here! ;D ;D

More Water
Try a sub-surface lure like the megabass anthrax! Move it fast like you would a spinnerbait over the same spots.

Slow fishing
I do eat them sometimes but i release most of them. Their meat is just like walleye. Do have any perch where you fish ? They are really good eating! Caught these today:
