  8. Great line for the price you pay!
  9. Put some in there, but not too many and watch them grow! Might want to put a few bass in there as well! I would if i had a pond like that! I'm jealous. Are there any kind of fish in there?
  10. Anything smelly will work for cats.
  11. Specifically for this reservoir , there is only one river flowing in but unfortunately the water there is very shallow(less than 3 ft) and the bottom is muddy with no rocks or any kind of structure hence it is highly unlikev to find bass spawing there. Cybasser might known better than me, of course. He is fishing this reservoir for many, many years!! I didn't mean that they would be spawning in the creek but they will be in the general area (pre-spawn) were the river/creek flows into the lake. Are the bass there allready spawning?
  12. I am not sure about LMB but i know they have Peacock bass. This might help a little: http://ecologyasia.com/verts/fresh-fishes/peacock-bass.htm
  13. Just take off the second guide and put a new tip on it! I will still work. Better then throwing it away and you can use as a spare rod.
  14. Good job! Well done!

  18. All colors work as long as you have confidence in them!
  19. I had the same problem! I was using braid and 8lb. fluorocarbon leader and loosing fish because of the zebra mussels. I went up to a 14lb. leader and it helped alot but i still loose some fish due to mussels. Thank god the mussels only seem to be in a few areas. And yes, check your line often especially after snags. I usually can loosen the snags caused by mussels and also have some stuck to the hooks but the line really suffers.

  22. Had a pretty good day! I caught 7 in all. I finally caught a couple on jerkbaits. The others were caught on creatures. The biggest was 5.7lbs. I had alot of fun and i hope it stays that way!
  23. Look for creeks or rivers that flow into the lake! I assume your fishing a reservoir and at this time of the year i bet you'll find fish there! I fished alot of artificial lakes in spain and the big one's always used to be in the creeks at this time of the year.
