I never actually counted mine neither but i probably will one night when my wife is asleep. I have gone so far that i hide new lures from my wife anywhere i can!

After i cut braided line i use a lighter and burn the end.

I fished for barbel on occasions in spain and worms, maggots work well. I caught a few on bread as well. The biggest ones i caught on lures believe it or not.

Air temp. in the day is 10-14 celsius and water temp. is about 5-7 celsius. The air temp drops quite a bit at night (-2 to -4). I seem to catch most on very windy days (north).
