nb1226, I was wondering what you caught those fish on and if there are any bass or other predator fish in Iraq. Thanks in advance!
  5. They should call it Uncle Josh "crap bait" instead.
  6. I guess I have to play too....! Power Pro for plastics. Sunline Defier for cranking.
  7. I would have to say braid, Power Pro that is but that's only my opinion.
  8. What "real fish" have you ever seen with a prop on it's tail? The point is, you just have to try different things and it might work!

Awesome smallie! there no smallies where I live and I really miss catching them.
  10. YUM makes some craws very similar to the Mad Mann's craw.
  11. If you have deep water around the floating dock you can try vertical spoons (cold water). Otherwise jerk-crankbaits or plastics of your choice.

Thanks for the pics! The third picture is a carp and the other two look like some kind of barbel. Keep 'em coming!

good for vertical presentations. works also for walleye and perch. i believe those on the pic are from cabelas.
  14. fish with plastics (craws+creatures) very, very slow!
  15. I wouldn't waste any money on carp bait. my son catches them on sweet corn or bread. works all the same since carp eat almost anything. i caught one once on a dead craw.
  16. Those kicking legs look sweet!
  17. It looks very similar to Deps Deathadder and they do work so i fgure the shad worm should also. What sizes can you get?
  18. I guess it's just like any topwater frog but with a blade on it. I never tried it but it looks like it should work due to additonal stir the blade makes. I might just get one or........!!!!!
  19. Man, that's looks like an alligator!!
  20. Hooks included for an additonal $5.99!!! NO, just kidding!!!!
  21. That's a possibility but the line was very frayed right where it broke.
  22. The water is probably still to cold but if there is Bass in there they will around those rocks and stumps in deeper water.

A seagull once took my popper! What a fight I tell you!
  24. Roadwarrior, Try YGK Nitlon DFC fluorocarbon (Japanese brand) if you cen get your hands on it. You'll like that I bet!
  25. What diameter line where you using? It's funny but same thing happend to me last week. I lost a nice 5lb. bass right at the dock. The 8lb. fluoro (leader only) I was using broke right at the hook. I allways lubricate the line but this bass swallowed the hook and I guess there was just too much friction on the line. I just switched to a heavier line diameter (the fish suposedly don't see line anyway) and haven't had that problem since.
