Vyron, your friends fish doesn't look anything like the one I caught, it's just a fat and muscular fish. Pre-spawn? The one I caught has strange short body and was caught after the spawn.

No HGH as far as I know. ;D That fish was caught in southern Spain which has very similar weather and reservoirs like in Cyprus. The bass in Switzerland are pretty fat, I find.

i caught a simular looking bass, looked like a cross between a crappie and a bass....real short, almost a panfish shape..... this one is a little different..... could this be a hybrid??? No hybrid unless bass recently startet mating with carp. ;D ;D The only other fish in that particular lake are barbel and carp. No panfish at all.

Like I mentioned above, this is the only one I ever caught that looked like that. The lake I caught it in has very few bass in it. You can also see that the fish is very fat so there was no lack of food. Other fisherman that fish that particular lake also told me that they never caught one that looked like that. The head and tailfin on that fish are normal size, it's just the body that is "too short".

I caught this bass a while ago but this thing has the strangest shape I have ever seen! The fish weighd about 3lbs. but had this huge head and very short body. Ever seen anything like it? I never caught another that looked like this one, in this lake or any other.

That is a Hell of a trout....Congrats to your friend. Was he fly fishing ? No, he caught on a inline spinner. I believe it a was mepps size 3.

Your holding that fish way out (which is your specialty). That fish is 3.5-4lbs. But I assume you know that.

Me a friend of mine caught, believe it or not, about 75 bass in a small creek that had very high water level after some hard rain! We caught all the fish right at the mouth of the creek. The water was very stained so we couldn't see the fish but we caught one on almost every cast! I hadn't rained for about 4 months and I believe most of fish in the lake were at this creek to feed. This was in pre-spawn and we caught fish on everything we threw at them. This probably happens only once in a lifetime!
