T-rig

Goldfish are carp. Small 3-5"carp are often used as bait.

If you want quantity I guess it is a good bait (just like any small topwater). I prefer larger baits to avoid catching those small fish (I still catch small fish but alot less). Here's a video:

It's a 3/8oz. Davis Paca Jig in Green Pumpkin Crawfish. Trailer is a Strike Rage Tail Craw in Watermelon Red Flake.

I use them t-rigged and also a jig trailers. The 5.20 works great in pre-spawn t-rigged.

I catch most Walleye (Zander) with suspending jerkbaits. The Lucky Craft Bevy Shad 75SP works well. Slim lures seem to work better.

Steve, use the Fat Ika, it has a much faster fall rate (similar to a Senko) then the cover craw.

I received my T-29 today and it floats.

Thanks dj! I would not have bought the bait if wasn't that cheap. I think for $27.50 you can't go wrong. $129 ist just crazy for a bait that's made in Mexico. How come some sink or suspend? Is it not supposed to be a floating bait? Does it have something to do with the wood Castaic used?

I got a really good deal on a Castaic T-29 swimbait. Only paid $27.50 ! 8-) How do you guys fish the bait and how deep does it run? Can you keep the lure on top (wake it) while retrieving it real slow? Thanks!
