I bet someone is going to say that the chartreuse shad color is different from the sexy shad color. There is no way in the world a fish can tell difference between the two, unless he has microscopic vision. Daiwa sells a very similar color but it's called threadfin shad. Jackall also has a chartreuse shad.

The lake I fish doesn't freeze and I still fish once in a while. All I caught was 2 pike. The last bass I caught about a month ago. I do see bass in the gin clear water but they're not intersted in anything. I did have a few followers with a Baitsmith Hitch swimbait. At this time of year I usually catch some with jigs and t-rigs fished very slow but not this year.

I'm done, was easier then I thought.

I got the level wind assembly today. Does anyone have any suggestions how to remove the old line guide from the worm shaft without damaging anything? I will need to take whole reel apart but don't want any parts left over when I'm done. Can I remove this cap using a screw driver?

All I'm catching are these things. But better then nothing.

There always is a need to fish swimbaits. Bass don't get bigger then 8lbs. around here and they are very rare. Even 2-3lb. fish will hit 8" swimbaits.

Micro, I got the squirrel in all sizes. 61, 67, 76 and 79. There also is a Super DD Squirrel 79. Great bait! There are dozens of good jerkbaits out there. Couple of my favorites are the Evergreen Sledge 6 and 7, Imakatsu Killer Bill, Super Killer Bill.

Micro, you mean the Jackall Mask? I had one and somehow it got in contact with some softbaits. Boy, what mess I tell you! The thing melted. ;D I didn't like the bait anyway. The action was "boring". I do like the Smash Minnow and the Squad Minnow. The Mag Squad 128 works well for Zander around here. In clear water I like the Megabass Vision 95. This bait is silent and works well for spooky fish.

Yes. The 100 pointer can be cast further then the suspending Bomber. The Bomber does not have a internal weight transfer system.
