Which popper Avid? The baby bass was caught on a LC spinnerbait.
  5. x2. With softbaits barbless hooks work well but if you're using swimbait or wakebaits you will loose alot of fish, especially if they jump. I loose about 30% of my fish on swim/wakebaits with regular trebles, I can't imagine how many I would loose without barbs. I don't keep the bass I catch, so many would say it doesn't matter if you loose a fish, but one of those fish could be my new PB....

    Unfortunately it did.
  7. The 5" version works well and I'm sure so does the 7".

That's just one of many dumb swiss laws. In many parts of switzerland fishing will only be allowed with barbless hooks. That's OK when you're fishing for trout, but bass....??
  10. That's awesome Paul! How much does the Tru Tungsten Swimbait weigh?
  11. T-rig replied to T-rig's topic in Fishing Reports
Yes, very similar. We are only allowed to release bass under 7" , anything above has to be killed by law. Stupid or what!? I will continue to release all of my bass, I don't care if I get fined.
  12. They do the exact same as senkos, because they are senkos.
  13. Really? : The fat Ika will catch fish when everything else doesn't work! I recently tried the Jackall I Shad and it works very well! http://cgi.ebay.com/JACKALL-BROS-i-SHAD-4-8inch-WATERMELON-PEPPER-NIP_W0QQitemZ260266166814QQihZ016QQcategoryZ31691QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD1VQQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp1638Q2em118Q2el1247 The Imakatsu Javallon 110 also works great for skipping. http://cgi.ebay.com/IMAKATSU-JAVALLON-110-S-34-ARKANSAS-SHINER-NIP_W0QQitemZ260277161256QQihZ016QQcategoryZ31691QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD1VQQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp1638Q2em118Q2el1247
  14. Congrats, nice fish! 8-) My guess is that fish weighed about 5lbs.

Thank you! Bass are not stocked (considerd an invasive species) but there is a huge amount of shad in the lake for the bass to gorge on. Unfortunately there are less bass every year, too many are taken, but there are still some good size fish around. Many are also caught by professional fisherman with nets. :'( Switzerland just passed a new law where taking pictures of live fish will be prohibited and C&R of legal size fish will also be prohibited. : My bass will just be to slimy and fall in the water everytime. Stupid laws! >

    Here's another pic.

I very seriously doubt it!! Killing a bass would be like killing my brother. It's a bad pic which I took with my cell phone. My digital camera has "died" on me! :'( The fish was only out of the water for about 30 seconds.
