  1. Nice fish congrats! I don't want to be rude, but are you sure that fish weighed 8lbs.?
  2. Bass are color blind, at least that's my opinion. Colors matter to us, not the bass. To bass colors are only light and dark.

  4. Great video man! 8-)
  5. Thanks Lavrax. Does the bait suspend or rather sink slowly? How deep does it run?
  6. Anyone use these? I know they don't look all that good but I wonder if the bass care. http://cgi.ebay.com/6-Optimum-Suspending-Swimbait-Chartreuse-Shad_W0QQitemZ120246068660QQihZ002QQcategoryZ31690QQrdZ1QQssPageNameZWD1VQQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp1638Q2em118Q2el1247

Right now I'm catching 90% of my fish on topwater baits. I hope it stays that way. Maybe you guys should try some larger baits like the Deps Buzzjet, it has been working for me.
  8. I would never buy that horrible looking piece of crap!
  9. No way.
  10. Very nice fat fish, congrats! Try frogs/topwaters around those reeds and lillypads even during the day. Also try some topwaters around the docks, there are allways some bass under them. Jigs and t-rigs would also be a good choice. Good luck!
  11. You should, cause they work.
  12. Very nice fish guys! 8-)
  13. You guys must the be the only 2 buying these. Have a look on ebay, there are plenty of these.
  14. Nice fish fivePound, congrats! You sure lost alot of weight!
  15. Yeah, those owner hooks are sharp! I usually just use a steady slow retrieve and it works around here. I sometimes retrieve the bait a few feet and then just deadstick it, also works at times. If you like the roumba, you'll love the O.S.P Daibuzzn. http://www.ichibantackle.com/showproductdetail.asp?productid=1237&name=DAIBUZZN Another awesome bait is the Evergreen Combat Crank TC-60. http://www.ichibantackle.com/showproductdetail.asp?productid=1701&name=COMBAT%20CRANK%20TC-60&manufacturename=EVERGREEN
  16. FC ist too expensive for an LBH ghetto fisherman! 20lb. yo-zuri hybrid will work just as well. LBH, congrats to your 2nd. swimbait fish! 8-)
  17. That's great LBH (except breaking the rod)! I got one on a swimbait today as well, they just have to get bigger!
  18. Thanks Raul!
  19. Awesome canadian bass, congrats! 8-)
  20. Very interesting Raul! Thanks for the info carnal! 8-) How big do the Tenguayaca get?
  21. The one I caught is pretty big but nothing out of this world, look at this! I believe this is the new world record. http://profi-blinker.de/image/barsch_1.jpg
  22. In slow flowing rivers/canals sure.
  23. Yes max, that's the first good size perch this year, but probably the last. There are very few around this year. No wonder, in the past 3 years there were tons of them taken with nets. I also caught a 100% blind bass in spain. It was really long but only skin and bones (only 1.6kg! ). Caught it on a sizmic toad.
