Max, I didn't measure the fish. It wasn't that long but very broad and fat. I don't think it had 4kg. My guess is around 3.7kg. Kistler rod? The rod I'm holding in the pic is a megabass destroyer bearing down type s. I did get a kistler helium ltx from a friend as a present (the real seat was damaged and I fixed it, but the rod is brand new). Sweet rod!

Are these swimbaits any good? They look pretty good but what bothers me is the single treble placed in the front of the bait. How much does the 6" bait weigh? http://www.cabelas.com/prod-1/0053778122856a.shtml

What model #? 115 any color will do! The smaller sammy's are a dink magnet.

x2 Long fights and or break off's are not good for the catch and release concept. x3. I don't find it very sporting having fish swim around with hooks and lures in their mouth. I fish with mono (12lb. upwards) where I can but in cover and with topwaters I use braid.

How much was it in the shop? Can you get this reel in left hand?

I use a Graphiteleader Bosco.

Any of you guys use this reel and what is your opinion about it? Does it also come in a lefty version? Thanks in advance!

I recently bought an Imkatsu Trairao and let me tell you, this bait walks the dog even easier then a LC Sammy. The bait also has really loud rattles. Can't wait until the topwater bite starts! 8-)

Believe it or not, that little guy put up a good fight.

I lost this year two 7lb.+ bass on swimbaits, when I do get one it's allways a small one. :'( Oh well, better then nothing. Got this one on a deps high sider jr.
