Plano Edge boxes
Wish they would have left the top clear so you could easily see inside versus that obnoxious Plano Edge garbage on it.

You back to making them? I need to buy a couple of those off you still.

Best budget fluorocarbon
Thanks for this post! This is the first year I've tried FC and I went with Inviz-X due to reputation and recommendations from others on here. Had it on my Dobyns FR 705CB (I think you've mentioned having this rod as well) and I just could not believe how "whippy" it felt in the tip and when trying to yo-yo a lipless back. Plus I just seemed to have no real distance when casting a 1/2oz RES and since the whole setup was new to me I could not figure out if it was the rod, line or the new SLX reel. Well I took your recommendation and I went with some 12# Shooter and man I was impressed with what I experienced this evening out at Jacomo! By comparison the 12# Inviz-X just feels a lot more stretchy to me. Also I've heard guys talk about how much "smoother one line comes off a spool" than another and had not really experienced that. Man there was just a NIGHT AND DAY difference between the two and I got SIGNIFICANT more casting distance! Thanks again for the tip on the Sniper!

Ideal jerkbait reel ratio?
Read a lot on here and it seems like people are all over the place on this. I want to start trying this presentation here in about a month once it gets cooler and wanted to have an idea what to start with. I have a Daiwa Fuego CT 6.3:1 but it just seems to me that you would want something that takes up excess line fairly quickly if you are working it on a somewhat slack line with quick little pops. Thoughts here?

New to jig fishing, FC or braid to start out?
I've never jig fished and I am going to force myself to learn! Trying to figure out which line to go with. I was planning on using the setup I use for frogging (a Shimano SLX 8.2:1 with 50# 832 braid on a Dobyns SA735C rod) but after reading all of the jig post on here I see a lot of people using FC. Here in Missouri I doubt I would be getting into some super gnarly spots so abrasion protection is not necessarily the highest of priorities. I just figured never really fishing bottom contact baits using something as sensitive as braid would really help me to detect a bite plus the power of braid to horse fish out of muck or to keep them from scurrying into brush or something once hooked. IDK, what is the thought process here for a newbie?

Need a ned head recommendation
Gonna try some ned fishing this fall. Anyone got a good ned head they recommend? Certain size or weight I should go with? Spinning gear only? Thanks

Wanted to check in with you to see if you did end up using these this year and if so how things went. Looking at possibly picking a few up myself.

I'll definitely have to check it out when I get home! What particular SK stuff did they have on great deals right now?

... I have a problem. I was curious if anyone else on here has received the same diagnosis for their physician?

What are the main differences between these 2 Owner hooks?
I saw these 2 Owner hooks today at Academy on sale and was curious what the main differences were between them. The Jungle hook looks beefier and i would think it's more for flipping. But they both have the exact same bait keeper on it so I started to wonder when and what applications you'd want to use this Cover Shot hook?

Considering trying flouro
Hmm, for some reason I was thinking you were an InvizX guy

Decent, cheap rubber boot
You don't have to tell me how slippery it can be. Last year I was putting in at a ramp that was not all that steep an incline and I had my hands on the side of the boat and kept sliding on by like I was doing the moon walk yet my feet were not moving a bit! I have since done a little reading about felt soles and the "advantages" of them. Would a felt sole get all soggy and get wet on the inside? If you were to step on a sharp rock or something would it prevent you from hurting the bottom of your foot? Would it last as long or by its softer nature does it just not hold up over time?

Decent, cheap rubber boot
I think I found a pair of hip waders I like at Dick's. These are the two models, one says it is "cleated" and the other is not. I see something about cleated or felt outsole? What does that mean and which should I go with? https://www.dickssportinggoods.com/p/frogg-toggs-rana-ii-pvc-cleated-hip-waders-17ftoarnpvcnylnhpwad/17ftoarnpvcnylnhpwad?Product=ProductSuggest https://www.dickssportinggoods.com/p/frogg-toggs-rana-ii-pvc-hip-waders-16ftomrnfltsanother sitexxwada/16ftomrnfltsanother sitexxwada?Product=ProductSuggest

If water is over my head I've probably got bigger problems at that point...

Decent, cheap rubber boot
Was looking for some soccer socks for my 8 year old today at Dick's and I ran across these. Are these pretty much the same thing at the item recommended on Amazon? If so I might go back and unbox and try them on to see what's what for myself.

Decent, cheap rubber boot
Here in Missouri in the spring or fall there can be a lot of days where shorts are comfortable but getting in the water needlessly would not make you happy!
-
Decent, cheap rubber boot
If I was just wearing some athletic shorts that did not have a belt on them could I still wear these or without having a belt running through those straps with they really get away from you and be a problem?

Decent, cheap rubber boot
I am having trouble envisioning how these work. So are there two of them that pull up your hip on each leg? Is the black little strap/loop I see at the top of them just to help you pull them up or do they go high enough to run your belt through so they don't fall down while walking? Paint me a picture here. Thanks!
