Yeah I don’t need no bfs

I always thought the scorpions were made in Japan ? Then I don’t see a point in getting a scorpion over a curado 70 I think I’m changing my mind on going bfs I just want something for weightless plastics but was wanting jdm? Is 10 to 12 pound line to heavy for a bfs reel?

If I’m breaking rules pleases delete... im in market for a bfs reel probably just a scorpion 71hg you guys know any trusted sellers that don’t take a month to ship?

@Maverick if you’re talking about “ Reel test” well I think they are both different type of channels and I enjoy his videos because he’s more of a collector a jdm Novelist and bfs fanatic I like his point of view and he’s got great videos. Where else can you see and review first hand jdm reels in English? As for feild tests you might not like them but that doesn’t mean other ppl don’t and both channels do field test by the way I appreciate both channels.

Like @Preytorien said if you have the coin the chronarch is the reel to go with it’s got the mgl spool that makes casting effortless almost backlash free and it’s really got a solid feel it’s way better than the k and that’s why it’s deserving at its price point not only that the chronarch is such a good reel it holds its value years down the line much more than a k as a matter of fact the k is already selling for almost half it’s price which goes to show you that even it’s Predecessor the green curado or the G held its value better because it still sells at the same price as the k does new on eBay. I’m sorry brother but the two reels are incomparable the chronarch is a much better more refined reel. However if your on a budget you can go with the currudao k which is a good solid shimano but can’t be compared to a chronarch with its mgl spool micro Module gears and solid composite material making it the glock of casting reels.

Tackle Advisors, that guy grew on me I have to say his sense of humor was annoying but now that I’ve continued to watch his videos I find him to be amusing but also very informative. There is no one doing what he does on YouTube his videos are good addicting and I see his channel growing in the future. I can watch reels being opened up and dissected all day long. This guy knows what he’s doing I wonder how long this guys been tearing down reels and putting them back together again.

I agree somewhat, he seemed to get pretty upset with them and I think he overreacted to them when they were simply explaining to him how the brakes should be set. They however acted just as bad with their comments making them look pretty bad you would expect a company to be a bit more classy and be open to criticism I mean you don’t see other company’s troll on ppls videos just because they got a bad review?

Shimano Casitas good reel very easy learning curve and it cast extremely well. Probably find one for 70$ on eBay.

The split shot rig is good because you can reel in the slack and feel that split shot on the ground. As you hop or twitch the split shot the soft plastic behind it jerks and flutters down. Pay attention to any movement of the line so you can set the hook. Very effective way to fish all types of different plastics.

7 foot Medium heavy moderate spinning gear and 15 to 20 pound line depends on how big the fish are in that lake. 3/0 circle hook to a one ounce slip slider and half an anchovie, about a three foot leader attached to a swivel. You can snell two hooks on the line one in the middle and one at the end. If your a using casting gear try buck tails and jerk baits rattle traps and whopper ploppers.

Oh that’s normal for a lews reel.

Get a chronarch.

I wonder why the k is selling so cheap on eBay you can get one for 140 new. kinda sucks because the resale value will be very low in a year or so I wonder why? Where did shimano go wrong with the k ? So much hype and it’s a good reel but really did the 2 or 3 extra ounces turn ppl off it did me some what? It’s almost 8 ounces spooled up really! Why did shimano go backwards. I only fish shimano baitcasters but that’s because I’m used to them i prefer them I can’t switch and I won’t! Maybe I’ll get one later But for now I’m skipping on the k.

A good reel helps a lot! Backlashes are going to happen but they happen less on a good reel.
