Yeah I think your rite ? Because it does bug me the external adjustment brakes should click on both rotations. Bummer the seller doesn’t want to make an exchange so now I have to send it back and wait for my refund. This will take another 3 to 4 days hopefully if everything runs smoothly. I will definitely be going threw TW from here on out out I rather pay the extra 30 bucks than go threw the hassle of dealing with a seller, tw would have just exchanged it.

New, and the seller has 100 percent feed back I’m not really worried about the return I’m sure they will take care of it but I was thinking if I was to keep it does that really hurt the performance of the reel ? Is it more of a cosmetic problem ?

My question to you guys is this just a cosmetic problem or should I be worried I already sent the sellers an email so now I’m just waiting for a reply. Help!

What happened to the Abu Garcia brand? I see a downward spiral? Remember the abu for life guys it seemed like everyone was on the band wagon. I got to admit I was using their products and I still like em. But there like on the bottom of my list. Abu for life! Where did they go wrong and will they make a comeback? Or will they continue on their very low Plateau?

I worked for a big company don’t want to mention the company but the product is in many of your households. The company was Bought off by another major company and the changes didn’t happen over night it definitely took about six months to a year some changes were cutting cost with cheaper material some changes can be good but it does take time for the company’s to make those changes it doesn’t happen overnight.

Why the frame had nothing to do with the reel failure it was the gears graphite frames are plenty strong and not as heavy and dense as aluminum.

Take it from me a financial mess and a scout for good lures ,Stock up on war eagles before they make those slight changes that’s all I gotta say. It takes them about a year to make complete changes and from there on the changes just continue.

I got some those new pline snaps man those things are difficult to snap on? I just went back to the duo snaps their cheaper to.

Yeah the number of bearings isn’t important but I still rather have bearings than orange bushings .

Their was a time though that bearing count was a very good marketing strategy but ppl cought on to it or I did at least. I’m sure it’s still very important to some.
