  1. I don't know about ever playing another down in the NFL, but it won't be in Nashville. The Titans are done with that fool.
  2. Welcome aboard! I hope someone has information on where you might find this lure. Good luck!

Well, look at the bright side: A hundred years from now when you are dead and forgotten, your lures will be "collectables." :
  4. Welcome aboard! Whenever you ask what is the "best" of anything on this or any other Forum, your responses are really "favorites." Some are better than others or have different attributes that make them "special." But remember this: There is no "best" just favorite equipment. My recommendation is Yo-Zuri Hybrid Ultra Soft. #6 (11.9 lb test) for spinning tackle #12 (19.5) for baitcasting gear
  5. I still using #6 Yo-Zuri Hybrid Ultra Soft. 8-)
  6. This has been DEFINITIVELY answered by Gary Yamamoto Custom Bait Pro-Staff: The baits are the same, except for some color variations, EXACTLY THE SAME.
  7. Raul, you have the lines confused...Floroclear is a coated line. Copolymer interior, fluorocarbon coating: http://www.p-line.com/product_detail.php?id=101 P-Line Fluorocarbon is the pure fluoro line: http://www.p-line.com/product_detail.php?id=102
  8. ;D ;D Mook! ;D ;D The biggest thing that has changed for me over the years is attitude. When I was younger and up until about ten years ago, when I went fishing, I "hoped" to catch a couple of fish. Now I "expect" to catch big fish. PLEASE, don't turn this into another Senko thread, but I have to tell you that this lure changed my fishing completely. I have become somewhat proficient with a variety of lures, baits and techniques over the years; found a curious interest in tackle and become obsessed with some of "the science" that applies to fishing for various species. BUT...This is all a result of being very successful at catching bass, especially bigger bass than I might otherwise imagine. It wasn't because I suddenly became a better fisherman, it was the the Senko. This was a "Magic Bait" in 1997 and for me, still is today. As my passion grew, I had the good fortune to meet and fish with some outstanding fisherman, to whom I owe a huge debt. I learned a great deal from several guys that took me under their wing. My fishing partner (6 years) and a number of guides, many who over the years have become my friends, were instumental in moving me up the learning curve. Now it's my turn to give a little back.
  9. You will be pleased. A rubber net solves a lot of problems, especially with treble hooks at night! p.s. There is no reason to take the fish out of the water unless you are going to weigh or picture your prize. Leave the fish in the net and in the water. With your new rubber net the fish will not get tangled up and hook removal is usually no problem.
  10. Too cool! 8-)
  11. The experiment itself was good and proved that you and fluoro get along well. It was also a cool story. Even though you don't feel any problems but the knot has withstood over 30 hooksets and who knows how many snags. You have already proven to yourself that it is great stuff... I would hate to see you lose a big one for no reason now. I'm off the box now. ...lol Now, that's some good advice.
  12. I fished a variety of P-Lines for a couple of years, then I discovered Yo-Zuri Hybrid. Try the #6 Hybrid Ultra Soft on your spinning tackle, I'm sure you will like it better than the fishing lines you have been using. It's strong (11.9 lb test), highly abrasion resistant and has virtually no memory in use.
  13. Mine was rough (sticky spots) right out of the box. At the time of introduction the reel was about $120, the same as a Shimano Stradic. I don't think it's too much to ask that reels be "comparable" at the same pricing point. So, if you accept the comparison I will state infatically that there was NO comparison whats-so-ever!
  14. Almost speechless...Whooo Hooo!!!
  15. Take a look at the Kimber Pro Carry II. It is the smallest high caliber (.45 ACP) pistol on the market: http://www.kimberamerica.com/pistols/compactprocarry/

  17. Welcome aboard! The Professor's Corner wasn't the right section so I moved your inquiry here. I hope you get some helpful advice from the membership. However, if you would like to address your question to Mr. Hannon, please send him a PM.

  19. Jeez guys... Personal attacks are NOT warranted and WILL BE (have been) DELETED.
  20. The vast majority of my strikes (from bigger bass) are on movement AFTER the bait has first settled to the bottom. When rigged skirt up, the tentacles are pushed back when the Fat Ika is moved forward. When it falls, on slack line, the skirt flutters up. This combination is the "action" that triggers a bite. In the aquarium at BPS in Memphis I have watched the bass in the tank when the lure is presented. Generally, smaller bass attacked the lure before the bigger bass would strike. If the bait reached the bottom, the bass would stare at the lure, or appear to watch it intently. Sometimes the bass struck when the bait was initially moved, but more often attacked on the fall after movement. That's how I fish them: slow, weightless and weedless.
  21. Sounds like a nice day to me. Great pic, too!
  22. WOW! Great trip and some nice smallies.
  23. North of Texas and a little bit east of California.
  24. Well buddy, You contiue to amaze me. Your multi-species skills and focus on big fish are two attributes that I most admire. Flexibility in fishing both artificial and live baits is another. But something I am curious about: Why waste your time on green trout when you have the option to catch World Class smallmouth? :
  25. #1 Fat Ika #2 6" Senko (not a knock-off) #3 Micro Munch Tackle El Gordo tube Recent additions: GYCB Kreature, Mattlures Baby Bass swimbait
