  3. The Daiwa Yamamoto Neko Baits gives anglers unmatched performance. Combining Daiwa’s precision detailing with Yamamoto’s legendary soft plastic, the Neko Fat Worm features a thick body similar to that of a Yamamoto Senko and also comes equipped with a bulbous tail, which provides a unique, quivering action. A great choice fished weightless, it is also absolutely deadly on a Neko Rig with a nail weight in the head. The Neko Rig is always a great option for finesse fishing. While most anglers use a weightless worm, the nail weight in the Neko Rig gives anglers the ability to use heavier gear and reach fish in deeper water, where weightless worms just aren’t practical to fish.
  4. 20*/ 9* windchill this morning
  5. I'm going to have some more coffee and wait until 6:00 to get the birds up.
  6. Replace Call the company and be professional. Ask them to send you the new rod asap.
  7. Bull Shoals mid May through mid June. If you want to slide down into AR, this is the best guide I know: http://www.hotdawgguideservice.com/
  8. Congrats to you and your dad!
  9. My favorite aunt & uncle have lived in Minnetonka for more than fifty years. At one rime my aunt was "Betty Crocker". They have always loved it up there. "Kids" and grandkids like it, too!
  10. Under the Imperial Russian penal system, forced exile to Siberia had been in use since the seventeenth century for a wide range of offenses and was a common punishment for political dissidents and revolutionaries. So, what did you guys do to get exiled to MN?

  12. The "trick" with the Alberto Knot is wraping the line to mesh without overlap. Tighten as you go, alternate pulling both tags and main lines. I am confident with the knot and trim both tags close. The braid I burn with a cigarett lighter to form a small ball. Squeeze your fingers so that you burn them before ruining the knot. Sometimes you will need to start over.
  13. No, not generally, but for the criteria the OP listed. This is my primary rod for live bait fishing for smallmouth on the Tennessee River and I was fishing it at Guntersville. My primary production rod was a St. Croix Legend Elite LES 70MF. I had Mike at DVT build me a custom rod which is MF. That is my dedicated Senko rod.
  14. Winter starts here in 1hr 36 minutes. The cold front is moving through Arkansas now and will cross the Mississippi River shortly. The temperature is 60* currently, but will drop into the 20's tonight and stay bitter cold tomorrow.
  15. For more than twenty years I have NEVER fished a soft plastic without a dab of MegaStrike.

  17. Well, that's a horse of a different color. I would like smallmouth in Tennessee to have a C&R restriction for anything under 12 lbs.
  18. I would NOT change your rigging, poo-poo happens.
