"most Durable" Craw Plastic?
Why would anyone care? I want great action, soft texture and scent. TI fish Rage Tail 90% of the time, but I still fish GYCB occasionally. As long as the fish are BIG, I couldn't care less if I lose a bait or not. It's all about "catchin'" not just fishin'.

Yozuri Hybird
Try both Ultra Soft and original Hybrid, the line is inexpensive. Then you can decide for yourself. I used to recommend Ultr Soft for spinning tackle, but have moved back to original Hybrid simply because it appears less visible to me. Green Hybrid blends almost perfectly in gin clear water; Purple Smoke in stained water.

Shimano Stella Ar 2500
The 1000 FA is a fun little reel that I have mounted on an Avid AVS66MLF. I don't fish it much, the rig is basically something I use for stocker trout and white bass. It's overkill for me. The 2500 FD is a design I'm not jazzed about. Functionally the reel is perfect, but the spool extends out too much. Am I being particular? Yes. The 2500 FE is the ultimate fighting machine. I like everything about this reel! What stands out for me about the Stella series is the smooth drag. This is so important when I have the opportunity to fight a truely trophy smallmouth or brown trout.

Sensitivity Issues
Man, you have been around for awhile. You must know by now that there are MUCH better choices than the stuff you are fishing. Maybe it's time to step up and buy some "bass" gear. At almost any pricing point there are much better rods than the ones you are fishing.

If it's a Shimano, forever.

Green Or Clear Line?
Green Yo-Zuri Hybrid blends almost perfectly with gin clear water. For stained water, Purple Smoke is the ticket.

1/4 oz is generally what I use regardless of the depth. Give the Rage Tail Thumper and Anaconda a try, I think you will be impressed.

Ledges At Pickwick
Well, ya know fishing deep structure we kind of expect a few 5+. I don't think Pickwick or anywhere on the Tennessee River is going to produce like Falcon, but hope springs eternal!
