Drift with the current year around, but also fish the imaginary line between the buoys which roughly represents the channel. Big fish are sometimes in the deeper water.

Before I retired I fished a lot. Now I fish a lot more!

I have one ML for trout, but it is not enough for bass.

Well, I'm not taking anything away from Mexico, but both Texas and Florida produce 10 lb+ bass occasionally and boat loads of 6-8 lb bass. You don't need a passport, another language or additional security, although I would still carry.

Not everyday, but 4 or 5 days a week. Locally plus one day each week on the Tennessee River. Last week my brother and I had 3 GREAT days at Bull Shoals. I don't fish much on the weekends, but as luck would have it, two of the last three Sundays I have caught my biggest bass of the year at a local pond!

No, I am drifting along the shore 20-30 yards out using a 3/16 bullet weight.

I rarely fish at night, but when I do it is always with a guide. Night fishing is too dangerous for old folks.
