Fishing stock ponds for T.V. shows....
Ya know Paul, my ponds are public. I don't catch a lot of fish out of them, but the ones I catch are pretty nice. I don't get to jazzed with people that snub their nose at pond jumpers or guys fishing from the bank. As you know, I like live bait, too! So, my take is this: Enjoy what you do, catch some big fish and don't pay attention to the nay sayers. Back on topic: Stocked ponds on tv make sense for demonstrating technique and promoting gear. For my money, big water fishing (In-Fishermen) is much more fun to watch! 8-)

loomis bronzeback vs avid
My partner fishes a Bronzeback which I have used occasionally. I think the tip is too soft and whippy for most lures, but will probably work fine for your intended purpose. Why don't you fish it before buying? 8-)

Fat Ikas for large mouth?
Nope. The Fat Ika is not designed to be fished like a tube. This bait is a substitute for a Senko. It should be fished weightless The "magic" is in the fall which is slow and for the most part, horizontal. Unlike a tube which can be fished at any depth, the Fat Ika is most effective in shallow water, <12'. Fish this bait anywhere you would consider fishing a weightless Senko. The green fish love them! 8-)

GMAN Mop Jig + Rage Tail Lobster
Found more hungry girls today. Missed two bites, but landed three. Five bites in two, 2 hour trips with a break to BPS. All in all, a pretty good day! I have more Mop jigs on the way. 8-)

Yellow and chartruese on crank baits
Where are you fishing? I thought all lakes in the Mid South had threadfin shad. I assure you, crawdads are everywhere, whether you see them or not.
