How much more can I feel with a rod having no foregrip??
Well, the only split grip I have is a Dobyns Champion 683C. I would compare the sensitivity similar to G.Loomis IMX series. I have this rod matched with a CH50MG which balances perfectly and is the lightest rig in my collection. However, I am not a split grip fan and will never own another. 8-)

crankbaits: when to use a tight wobble vs. a wide wobble in spring?
The traditional answer is tight wobble for cold water (<60*), wide wobble for warmer water. However, structure and cover may be a better gauge. Lipless crankbaits seem to be effective in grass all the time! 8-)

Difference Between Good & Great Crankbait Rods?
Here is a specific suggestion: Avid AVC66MF. Although the rod is MF, the tip is soft. This is perfect for all treble hooks, except deep divers. The rod really shines when you are working topwater and jerkbaits. You will like the way it handles shallow crankbaits, too! 8-)

tubes for LMB???
Tubes have always been a staple for me. I fish Micro Munch Tackle El Gordo, Mizmo 5 1/2" Grandes, 3 1/2" Small Jaws and the original Gitzit (Baby Diaper Yellow). One of my best tips ever was a few years ago on Bull Shoals. For two and a half days, my partner and I never went fifteen minutes without "Fish On!" We were fishing the Gitzit exclusively. 8-)

Replacing eye on rod
Well, you can have it redone or if you want a simple solution...Stick the guide back under the wrapping so that it looks right. Then put a drop or two of Super Glue on the tear. I don't think the second guide gets a lot of pressure, so you should be alright. 8-)

Which rod for Guntersville hydrilla?
MBR842C is a versatile rod. More generally, I like a stiff tip for soft plastics, a soft tip for treble hooks. This rod offers a great compromise. 8-)

Revo Premier 2010 vs. Revo STX vs. Daiwa Zillion vs. Shimano Curado
I have both the STX and Curado 200E7. The CU200E7 is one of the finest reels Shimano has ever produced. If this is your choice, you will be very pleased. 8-)
