Yeah, the Chin Spins appear to be the same lure. In the previous post I didn't mean the same design in another brand wouldn't work, I was thinking a different blade bait with other action and profile. 8-)

Tubes. Couple questions
I'm throwing a white (00-Ghost) Mizmo 4" Big Boys on a C-rig this weekend. My thought is popping the tube off the bottom as the rig is dragged down the river. Using a weedless set-up, I hope to reduce hang-ups and have a free-floating presentation. The idea is to mimic a fleeing shad. We'll see. 8-)

pork??
Try it, you might be surprised. I think there might be some advantages over plastic, but it's a lot more difficult to work with. 8-)

Suspended bass
There is some issue with losing them... :-? My ponds have been slow lately, so Sunday I pulled out my last Hornet. Two gooduns and one biggun before it found a new home! Buy several at a time. When they're working and you run out, you'll feel lost. "Similar" is not the same. 8-)

Mine is a new rig I just put together for drop shoting and split shot rigging, but would also be great for weightless presentations: G. Loomis GLX MBR842C/ Shimano Scorpion/ Yo-Zuri Hybrid #6. The tip is flexible, but not wimpy. More importantly, even with light weights (<1/4 oz), this rig loads up and launches a mile! 8-)

Your smallmouth is beautiful, but you should have released the striper before taking the pic... That dude is pitiful! 8-)

Problem with baitcaster breaking line
Check your guides and the reel with a Q-tip to make sure there are no cracks or burrs. Whether you find a problem or not, change your line. If you want to stick with braid, I suggest moving up to 50/12. 8-)
