  1. Well, you should have had documentation up front and a written compensation agreement, but that's water under the bridge. Go back to the customers you developed and ask them to verify your involvement. If it were me, I would forget about the business they have already done and try to get compensated going forward. If you find a solution, use that as the basis for a (written) contract with your sponsor(s). You really need to work with an attorney to get this done right. That's money well spent. 8-)
  2. Should be a GREAT game! I think the Monday night game will be killer, too. (Denver v San Diego) 8-)
  3. Two of our sponsors, *** and MegaStrike, have recently introduced new spinnerbaits. These are as close as you get to "custom" lures. I suggest picking up a couple from both companies. 8-)
  4. I agree. Why not start a new collection with the only three rigs you really need? 1. Spinning rig: 6 1/2' or 7' Medium Power/ Fast Action; 2500 series reel ( Symetre or Stradic CI4). For all weightless soft plastics and light lures. 2. Baitcasting: 6 1/2' or 7' Medium Power/ Moderate Action; Citica or Curado 200E7. For all treble hooks. 3. Baitcasting: 6 1/2' or 7' Heavy Power/ Fast Action; Citica or Curado. For jigs, weighted soft plastics and just about anything up to an ounce or so. 8-)
  5. Old wives' tale. "Wind from the east, fish bite least. Wind from the west, fish bite best." Another: Standing cattle = good. Lying down = bad. My best day smallmouth fishing was with a rising barometer. Some of my worst days were when everything was perfect! 8-)
  6. Old wives' tale. 8-)
  7. Hmm... The answer is simple: Take it back for exchange. I don't care what the problem is. If a reel doesn't work right out of the box, get another! 8-)
  8. From a few weeks ago: http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1251958272 8-)
  9. One more tip: Chili gets better with age! If you plan on serving it on Sunday, make it on Friday or Saturday. Also, chili can be frozen and keeps indefinitely. 8-)
  10. I bought the Pro Carry II for my son. He shoots a lot and really likes the gun. I'm surprised Stasher1 had such a terrible time with the weapon. He sounds like he knows his guns, so be sure you buy from a reputable dealer if you decide to get the Pro Carry II. Problems like that should result in replacement, not repair. 8-)
  11. SALUTE! 8-)
  12. Hmm... Kinda like live bait, huh? Worms, dads and minnows work REAL well, too. I have no problem with "live" bait, dead or alive. :
  13. No. I have been using it for two years or so and never experience any negative consequences of any kind. In fact, I HIGHLY recommend KVD Line & Lure Conditioner. 8-)
  14. I own the AVS68MXF and I highly recomand it, but I'm fishig from a boat; the casting distance is not such an isue. You are fishing from shore, so annother 10ft on your cast could mean reaching "the spot" or not. The AVS70MF will load better and the extra lenght will give you longer casts. I think the AVS70MF would be a better option for your situation I agree! 8-)
  15. The Imakatsu looks like a GYCB Kreature knock-off to me.
  16. A couple of weeks ago, Speedy Madewell and I fished with Wild Bill. This is the premier show on ESPN Radio: http://wildbilloutdoors.com/ I'm doing a follow-up interview later today for Saturday's program. 8-)
  17. Not "a lot of guys". Some guys for very specific applications. I'm sure someone that does this will reply. I don't. 8-)
  18. This comes up occasionally. As I recall, they are heavy and have poor sensitivity. I guess the bottom line is, they aren't anything special. You basically get what you pay for, but that's not necessarily a bargain. :
  19. There's no "noise" in Illinois unless you're from Warshington. :
  20. Actually we read every email that you send. If you have not been a "victim" the is not much we can do. We get 8-10,000 email a day. We are here 24/7 and we read every email. If you send us the scam and tell us you are aware of the scam there is nothing much for us to do. If you have been a victim of one of these scams we usually send you a referral email or call you and refer you to www.ic3.gov. This site is a joint effort by the FBI and SS set up to stop these scams. You do have to understand that the FBI does NOT have jurisdiction in other countries. We relay on other countries police to help us apprehend individuals. If you guys have any questions please feel free to message me. (I'm on the night shift) Maybe I'm being naive, but it seems like these schemes would be easy targets for sting operations. I don't think these guys are the sharpest knives in the drawer! I guess their victims aren't either. It's pretty hard to win a lottery in the UK without buying a ticket. :
  21. Great post, fish and pics! 8-)
  22. Well, my Tigers played Nebraska about as well as your Tigers played Florida. For Big 12 fans, the Texas v Oklahoma game should be the game of the week. 8-)
