Buy more jigs and don't be afraid to lose them. Otherwise, if you are fishing shallow go weightless and weedless with soft plastics. If you are fishing deep, soft plastics weedless and unpegged. 8-)

NOTHING Absolutely nothing. I do most of my bizz with BPS locally, but I don't buy ANYTHING in-house. Every BPS product is "least cost". I don't find any "value" in BPS branded merchandise.

You were not being lazy, I experiment with other lines all of the time. I currently have two baitcasters spooled up with PP 50/12 and two others with Seaguer InvisX 100% #12. So far, I still hate braid but REALLY like the Seaguer on the baitcasters. Yesterday I bought some #6 to try on a spinning rig, but have not used it yet. Over the past several years I have tried numerous lines on my spinning tackle, but have yet to find anything I like better than Yo-Zuri Hybrid Ultra Soft. Note: I also use original Hybrid which in the smaller diameters (#4 & #6) works fine on spinning tackle when treated with KVD Line & Lure Conditioner. 8-)
