  1. Thanks all. That's what i needed to know.
  2. Hi all, I've been using Lew's Tourney MB reels the last coupe years. I've added a couple rods and am thinking about trying one of the Tatula models. I've read that the different models may vary in size and since I can't find any local I'm wondering which one is closest in size to the Lew's since it works well for me when palming? Thanks for your help!
  3. If I had to pick one rod specifically for Bass it would be a 7' Medium/Fast spinning rod with 8lb braid, with or without a leader depending on technique. I'm assuming you're asking because you don't have a lot of experience and a spinning rod would be a better tool to learn on, imo. You can cover a lot of basses with this setup. If you went for a second rod later on, my SECOND rod would be a Medium Heavy/Fast baitcaster.
  4. I remember the first good rod I bought years (and years) ago. I think I fished it a couple years before realizing it was 2 pieces. That's how much I knew back then. All the rods I fish locally are 1 piece. I have a couple Elite Tech 2 piece rods I pack when visiting family, etc.. They catch fish like the one piece rods do.
