I think a lot of manufacturers do this BUt im pretty certain they have a lot of input on whats made thing about a rods is no matter what at some point when it is made it does have to pass a human eye inspection and a lot of things on a rod cant be done with a machine anyway .Its not that each ONE is done custom but when u got 50 workers each has there place and too a certain point it is kinda made custom just u have more ppl holdin that same rod.Like massed produced berkley cherrywoods if u ask me they are great you can bend them the same as a loomis and they do have good actions.Any company can make you a rod that wont break but who is gonna fish with a rod that is 5 inches around all the way from butt to tip??

Yup thats the bad thing about big chains they have a big impact on mom and pop places wich in my opinion are great they have stuff u cant find online or even in big chains.I stopped at this one mom and pop about 8 yrs ago they had about 20 diff actions,sizes of garcia hellbender rods i shoulda bought them then but its about 50 miles from me and i was in a work truck hard to explain i was shopping LOL but i went past there about a YR later on my own time and they were closed down :'(

i use manns augertails in 12 inch just as good and yes they catch big bass summer spring and fall in MD u get like 10 in a package at 4 dollars about 15 diff colors

I have 12 of them i use um more then my trigger rods cuase i like to be accurate at close range does me well i use mostly jigs with mine and spinnerbaits depending on how they are biting.Anyone have any for sale let me no??

Buy up as many penns as u can find i handled a slammer nice reel i shoulda bought it marked down to 50 bucks at sports authority.

with my pistol grips i can cast med range or short way better then with my trigger rods no clue why they aint as popular now as back then i suppose diff styles of fishing BUT still a pistol grip to me is a nessescity

Manns 6" jelly worm in purple t- rigged and to think i own so many diff lures when in reality that one lure can do it no matter where u live.

I heard you take a piece of wood any kind will do as long as the fish fits on it bake it till the fish is done depending on size of course now this is important slowly take it out the oven slide the fish into a bag take the fish to ur dog or hog or w-e creature u have set it down for um on the ground and run cause w-e pet u have will hate u for doin this then go ahead and eat the wood !!! anyone heard this ;D

Im no tree hugger either but turtles are beneficial to our water ways .Think of turtles as vultures they eat a lot of stuff that dies and it could be dieseased.Im no boloigist either but we all know each animal has its place (not CHIGGERS AND TICKS ) If we use the assumption turtles are hurting the fish population does that mean we shoot every BALD eagle we see with a 2 lb bass hanging from its feet no.Like i say im no tree hugger they to me are considered terrorist .And us killing animals that have been in a lake long before we fished it is not natural a pond or lake or river has a cycle of life and if one is removed u might not see a diff in your lifetime but 30 yrs from now your kids or grand kids will not be able to appriciate that 30 lb snapper LMAO

I use 2 d5,s on clarus mh 6-6 rods with big game solar collector for my worms and lizards and a falcon pistol grip with a c-3 4600 on it and also 15 lb BG for my jigs its a 6 footer with a heavy action.

What about shelf live of line anyone have any stats i have a lot of big game i keep it in my closet no sun no heat or moisture ???

I voted manns hard to find aroudn here but i bought all i could 3 yrs ago when walmart had um on clearance i have over 300 bags of manns jellys worms and auger tails thing is i caught my biggest bass ever in 1985 on a 8 inch purple jelly worm 10-4 i live in maryland and thats a big basss the yr before that i caught a 9 -4 on a augertail manns i have many zooms and a few berkleys also i never know where ill be at in the USA so im stocked

Get a shimano clarus or convergance both have LIFETIME over the counter warrenties i think one is 40 bucks and one is 60

Is that a line counter on there now thats cool to keep records of how much line each reel can hold not that line is exspensive just nice to no if u have a reel with say 200 yards capacity and u mark ur spool of line for later use and it has 175 yrds no more puttin it on and wasting it. I think im goin to do that.
