It's an ugly stick? Equal those 200 dollar rods? How many nice rods have you ever fished with? I own Falcons and have fished Gloomis ill agree them Loomis rods are light.Im a ultilitarian guy when it comes to rods to me a 9 or 10 once rod dont hurt me fishing all day.I have 5 arrius rods also great rods.Just IMO if u can get a utility rod with a lifetime warrenty go for it even if it dont weigh 3 oz !!

Get a clarus LIFETIME warrenty and i own 4 of them and all i can say its a uglystik only lighter they are durable and there actions equal those of 200 dollar rods IMO.... i got all mine for 34 bucks at sports authority on clearance!!!

i have found my raps made in iraland and finland are perfect right out of the box but i notice a lot made in estonia are needin help. Wonder if i should not use um maybe collectors items someday??

i heard they groove faster then SS guides even,I seen a post about takin a file to them and u can cut um really fast and a guy had a loomis for 6 months and the tip grooved

Ya i know what ya mean i have 15 c3,s ill never get rid of um im thinking the revo will cannibilize the c,3 and c4, 4600,s and another note im truley thinking the revo is the new c-3 in terms of history a turning point in abu history even ...im just wondering will they sell as many revos as they have sold c-3,s the worlds most popular reel and the most sold reel of all time????

I know this dont cover them all but prob the most prominate places we fish!! Any other places that are your go too spots aside from actual patterns ?? I myself start in a weedy shallow areas then proceed or stay depending on how it is there.

Well im not trying to get all political here or trying to offend anyone but ..............this is what you call affirmative action in action we all deal with it from service at fast food joints to the TELEPHONE calls we make customer service in america is a JOKE and now they are raising the prices on stamps .I remember not too long ago 20 yrs to be exact UPS ,USPS, FEDEX all made it a PRIORITY to make the customer happy from the loading docks to the drivers deliveriing ur goods ...for example The USPS motto was rain sleet snow or shine you will get your mail now if ur mailbox is blocked by snow they wont even get out and put it in your box SAD how america has become so lazy and careless.Dont get me wrong i LOVE america but it is changing so fast its not even close to the promised land anymore ...expect it to get worse before it gets better UNLESS we change it

I have some too ,I want to have faith in um but some reason i dont id rather use a coastlock with a ball bearing or just the coast lock they are light and they really do lock!!! BTW you can only use a speed clip on a spinner bait WITHOUT a U wire it needs to have a twist to stop the speed clip from goin to the head or the blades,maybe your speed clip went up to the blades ????

Ok yall to make a long story short ,my brother lives on the bay in maryland right on the beach he is not much of a fisherman has a few surf rods well when we had the hurricane his surf rods 2 of them washed away ,We found them today this has been over a yr they were in the reeds near a salt marsh not far from his House he did have enough knowledge to put put berkley trilene on these 20 lb solar collector .Ok so these reels where not the best reels on the market some 2 ball bearing ones made by shakespeare i think they were shot corroded and such so im thinking the line has to show some kind of deterioration took prob 20 foot off one of the reels the line was kinda bleached BUT get this it had NO deterioration at all still the same knot strength still the same tensile strength this was a extreme test for this line and only thing i can think of that was wrong was the line memory IF this line can take single digit temps for a month, the water on it prob 70% of the time extreme heat and sunlight and still only show color probs why do we need to change line other then it getting nicked or rough?? thought id share this with anyone who is wondering about the durability of trilene big game to me this real world test is all a person would need ;D :)

I think it has more to do with care of your reels then manufacturer,I seen a guy take a 60,000 h2 into a creek and blow it up tryin to get back out IF he knew what he was doin it would have not blown up,same goes for rods i have seen ppl break 300 dollar rods with little effort and no common sense,all boils down to who is buying this stuff if you ask me now days there are a lot of ppl with a lot of money and a lot of ignorance...

It does have a 10 yr warrenty LOL seems like a survival thing if i bought one. But id put POWER PRO braid in place of the mono.Im sure it work in a instant to catch your supper for a few weeks..

Or buy the best braid POWER PRO

for numbers of fish id say a pop-r and a toss up between a chug bug and a rapala j-11 for big bass

I think the curado is made in japan and the citica korea dont know if that means anyting 1 bearing aint worth 100 bucks though if you ask me

Only thing i can think of is the drag and how the line is picked up i too have a few classics i use for beatin around the bush the spools on these reels are not all that good really small and they make your line go at a sharp angle to the line pick up
