  1. Ford guy......smart man.
  2. I can reset the code with a button in the car. But I'm gonna get it ran first. Dang car is pretty nice but it's all push button mumbo jumbo. Seems like everything in that car is a fancy smancy technological process. I just wanna go fishin.
  3. Man I'm so glad you took that joke with a grain of salt. I was actually on the way in to delete that comment. Lol.....but all jokes aside congratulations to the both of ya. Yall boys look good and you can really tell you have been hard at work. ????
  4. I'll try to post some pictures. It looks to be in good shape. And I never close the bail with the handle. Always manually. Thanks for the reply and information. Says he has a 2500 and 3000
  5. Gotcha. Thanks for the info. I'll give it a pass ???
  6. Looking at picking one up for 50$ anybody using these?
  7. Congrats to you both !!! MY GOD !!!! I cant even begin to imagine the hours upon hours you fellas spent laying out in the sun to look like that.
  8. My wife has a 2009 bmw x5 and last night her engine light came on. Dang thing only has 100,000 on it. Been maintained well. We're gonna take it and get it scanned this evening, just wandering if there may be any bmw guys on here. Just for the record........ I told her to get a ford.
  9. I think he's more wary about giving his phone number out. This is a craigslist thing. He is responding to emails, but rather slowly.
  10. Been talking with a guy through email about some fishing stuff he has for sale. I would much rather call and handle the entire conversation in about 5 minutes but I think he prefers to email. He hasn't told me what all this is yet even though I've asked twice. Im particularly interested in identifying the rods and reels. He wants 180 bucks for the entire lot..... What's yalls thoughts? I hope this is the right spot to post this
  11. Lo n slo they are pretty easy. Everything is pretty much square straight cuts.
  12. I know your pain.......Did they at least speak good clear english?
  13. My grandpa said Yankees are like hemorrhoids, if they come down and then go back up, they ain't so bad. But when they come down and stay down..........they are a pain in the butt......
  14. Me and the wife are in the process of building a "tiny house".. its coming along well. She said she wanted some "barn doors" for the bedroom and bathroom. I was all for it since they slide open and closed on rollers instead of swinging open and taking up floor space to do so. For something this small every little bit has to be used. I built these doors out of some old wood from my grandpa's grandmas house. The house was recently demolished but I've got tons of memories of that place. It has been abandoned and pretty dang creepy for the longest time. My whole family lives on this road and it's been that way for sooooo long. While I was growing up I me and my buddys would get our butts in trouble for sneaking into that big ole creepy house to explore...... anyway I built my grandpa a coat rack out of some of the live edge stuff from it also using a horse shoe from his dads old mule. He had a tractor but just loved plowing with a mule named Colby. Here are a few pictures. The fella with the mule is my great grandpa Swayne...I never met my grandpas granny obviously, but her name was Magnolia.....I know they had a dog that they called "diddy".....that was short for "diddy bite ya" .....Haha. The picture of the coat rack doesn't do it justice. It really turned out nice. Those 2 silver things are some shined up square nails from that old house.
  15. Just got the 2500 stradic today and put it on this zodias rod.....man I got to say it sure feels good in the hand. And the reel is as smooth as butter. ....This is my first good quality set up. I can not wait to try it out.
  16. I heard that Darren. I ordered the 2500 reel. I enjoy the light tackle and line type thing anyway. There's always a chance that ole big daddy will will spool me but it hasn't happened yet. I've had plenty of drag pullers and theres been a few times I've been broke off or just knew I was going to get broke off by a fish running for cover. It's just part of the game that I enjoy so much.
  17. Dang those suckers look good !!! Nice job scott hovanec.
  18. Well, I dont necessarily "get after" them. But they are often encountered and I dont mind it. ???.....even when I decide to specifically target them I use my regular bass rods and 10 to 12 pound line. All that from a kayak is pretty dang fun.
  19. I appreciate the replies. I mainly fresh water bass fish. But pretty often I get after striper and hybrids. I like fishing light line for those as well.
  20. Looking to place an order today. Cant decide between the 2500 or the 3000. This will be going on a 6'8, medium power fast action zodias rod. From what I read online the only difference is line capacity. What do yall think?
  21. I used to coon and hog hunt a lot with dogs. I have used Dan's hip waders for a long time and love them. They aren't chest waders. Just hip waders. They are briar proof and snake "resistant"....I did get whacked by a copperhead with them on and it didnt get through. They make light and heavy ones. The heavy is what I've always used. I've fished small rivers and creeks a ton in them.
  22. I voted jerkbait I've built so much confidence in those suckers the last couple of years. They just flat out catch fish.
