I been thinkin about trying the Rage broadheads this year. A few guys i've talked to said they just blow through em an rip em up, even a bad hit can be lethal. Anyone else used them?

I got to try out some owner hooks today. I must say they are excellent, I had way more hookups and used the same hook all day long. Caught about 30 fish on the same hook and I would say 80 percent of them were all hoooked in the same place ( side of the cheek) and it never dulled one bit. I know i will be buying some in the future when i run out of these. One question though, Why can you buy owner hooks cheaper at BPS or cabelas rather than straight from Owner? That makes no sence to me. lol

Ok i think i didn't worded it wrong ... the motor does NOT have to run. As soon as i turn the key on the buzzer goes off Running or Not. Thats why it led me to believe the oil lvl. But that is not it. Unless my sensor went out. What i was wondering is if anyone knows that if the oil injector is malfuntioning (does that have a buzzer) that will be set off with engine off Key on. I can't get my dealer to call me back to get some more info or a book and its over a hour away so thats why i'm asking here. Thanks

I have a 1996 40hp mariner and the buzzer is going off. I went fishin on friday and all was fine. Saturday mornin as soon as i turned the key on the buzzer went off. The oil lvl was my first thought so i added, still going off. On friday it smoked quite a lot i thought, but figured it was because i hadn't run it in a while. I'm now thinking the oil injector is not working, but do not know if that will set off the buzzer or not?? I have good water pressure and it is not overheating so that is not it. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks in advance

Just thought all of you should know what kind of a guy frogtog really is. As you all know a while back I have my tackle stolen and a lot of people on here offered me some tackle, well I didn't feel right taking from others so i declined. I did however pm frogtog and ask him if I could purchase (a few) crankbaits. Well after a few pm's back and forth he would NOT accept any money from me and I was tired and discusted of my tackle situation. So I took him up on his offer, I thought he would send me a couple cranks as I previously asked to purchase. Well to my suprise i did not receive a COUPLE of anything. Instead I recieved a BIG BOX FULLLLLLL of stuff ranging from crankbaits, soft plastics, spinnerbaits, weights, line, jigs and lots more goodies.I can't say THANKS enough to this guy for what he did to help someone he has never even met. I will post before frogto and after frogtog pics of my tackle when i get a chance. Just thought that everyone on this forumn should know what kind of a class act Mr. frogtog really is!!!! He will never be forgot in my book, and can only imagine what other fine things this man has done in his life. THANKS AGAIN!!!!!!! Well I tested out this today as well. Took my last bags of worms an bought a spinerbait and headed off at 4:30 am. Fished until noon with only 2 bass and the largest one was caught after I got fed up with no bass and went bluegill fishing. lol That calandar lied to me . Felt good to be on the water though even if I couldn't catch any.

I wish i had half your talent. All your advice helped but i have a LONGGGGGG way to go. It amazes me how good some of all the builders on here are and keeps me trying!

I use the hooks like these, they triple the life of the frog from a regular hook.

I would think if it sat that long there would be a few possible things to fix. First the water pump would probably need replaced, and the carbs would most likly need gone through. Just my opinion and they are not that hard to do. It would be nice if you could get it running first to make sure it fires and all. good luck

Almost all of the walmarts around here carry the ribbits, sometimes not a lot of color selections but they do have them. Might be worth a shot checking them out.

I'm still waiting(hoping) the cops find the lil punks, as for now i'm searching all the forsale boards on all the sites i can find and ebay also. And tomorrow i'm going to check as many yardsales as i can and hopefully spot something. I know its a longshot but i just want the satisfaction of the punks gettin arrested, an hope to claim some of my stuff back. I checked into my house insurance an the deductable is about as much as what i lost so its not worth the hassle and raising my insurance. They win this time but i don't forget and i hope they screw up somehow so i can catch them. I set up a trail cam incase they come back. Atleast its all replaceable and no harm was done to my family or anything like that. Over time i will gain it back i have no doubt in that as I love fishing too much to sit here too long when the weathers so nice lol. Just hafta wait til the financial situation allows it.

I must have gotten a good one then, cuz mine is within 2 oz's of a cert scale when i tested it. Its the 15 lb berkeley scale.

I like shallow cranks or a spinnerbait.

It hurts like heck if the line breaks or slips, but it does work quite well.
