Drag....
What should my drag be set to when bass fishing? As for now I have it on the tightest - because I’m not going to be reeling in 15 lbers........why would I need drag.....

Fallen timber.......
I am using 8 lb test Fluorocarbon, and I use a baitcaster.

Lures for beginners
This may sound weird, but if you wacky rig or Texas rig chicken feet, bass love em. It’s my go-to bait. Chicken feet is also one of the best lures for beginners - and it’s also used in tournaments worldwide - rig up chicken feet and see for yourself!

Surrounded by trees......
That’s a genius idea! Does it really work?

Fallen timber.......
I am using a weighted hook

Crankin’
Has anyone ever fished a crankbait in heavy cover, located mainly at the bottom of the lake? If so, how?

Fallen timber.......
That’s a good point. But does that mean I can not fish fallen timber from shoreline if that means dragging the lure through it? I am using weedless hooks (t rigged senkos). The problem is mainly (probably) when the lure gets tangled somehow with the branches and gets wedged in I guess....

Surrounded by trees......
I could technically if I buy waders but I just wanted to know if there are ways around it while fishing from shore. (Who uses waders when bass fishing?)

Fallen timber.......
There’s this spot that I fish often - but one of the problems with it is that there’s this one thick tree that has fallen right in middle, and I’ve got snagged on it multiple times - WITH A T-RIG!!! I don’t want to avoid that tree because that’s probably where all the bass are hiding out, but what are some ways I can fish that fallen tree and NOT GET SNAGGED - and hopefully catch some fish?

Surrounded by trees......
I recently found a nice secret spot that holds some nice decent bass. I would love to go there and fish it, but it’s sorrounded with trees - leaving barely any space to cast, and I don’t want to get hung up in a tree every cast - How would you cast in a situation like this?

Finally bought a scale
Scales are useless unless you catch a 10 lber

Polluted lakes.....
There is I think water flowing into and out if it - it’s a pretty small and unpopular lake - I’m not sure if the DNR would know about though......

Polluted lakes.....
Hey what’s up! Recently I’ve found a lake nearby, but I’ve noticed that it has a green disgusting looking cover on top of the water - could be algae or some thing - can’t see half an inch through the water- Is this a sign of a bad lake? Should I not fish it (or eat any catches from it)? If I do fish it, what would be the best technique to use to catch those bass under those situations?

U Tailed Worms.......
Has anyone ever tried a Zoom Bait U Tailed Worm? How has it worked for you?

Losing fish when they jump
No.

Time spent......
I used to go fishing every day and it was a blast. But now I’ve run into a tight schedule and I usually only go fishing once a week. How many of you manage to fish more than that? How often do you get to go fishing?

Topwater.....
What would you rather fish - a topwater frog or a whopper plopper?

Bass Location......
I frequently hear from different people that the Mid West is the best place to fish. How true is that? What is the best State or “area” in the US to go bass fishing?

Lily Pads.......
Today I was desperate and forgot my frog at home so I threw a weighted Texas rigged Senko with fluorocarbon line into heavy lily pads (in which the stems are coming out of the water) and I got snagged twice. The first time I threw it I think I saw a bass blow up for it and I set the hook but I wasn’t pulling on a fish - I was pulling on a lily pad - snagged. The second time I threw it, it got snagged for good and the line snapped while trying to free it. Where did I go wrong?

Lily Pads.......
Anyone tried fishing Lily pads with a Senko?

How Many Of Y'all Actually Use Lead When Punching?
So if the lead gets consumed by a fish, is it not safe to eat that fish?

From Hobby to Profession
Let’s say you love fishing for bass or even other species too, and at one point you realize it’s the most enjoyable practice in your life, and you absolutely love it and can do it all day. Is there a way you can make money off of doing it? I know they have tournaments but that is for professionals and it’s not all that simple. Is there a way you can turn this hobby into your business? What is the best way (if there is) to make money off of fishing and doing what you love?

Bubbles......
What do bubbles in the lake mean? I heard it means there’s fish right there but I heard it can be something else, too.
