Smelly Tackle
So I have a lot of tackle in my old tackle box, but recently I found some dead worms in the box and now all my tackle stinks. I want to transfer my tackle into a new tackle box but I don't want to stink up my new box. Any advice on how to get rid of the smell?

Too much fishing
How easy is it to "fish out" a pond? In particular I'm referring to a pond where many (a s*** load) of largemouth bass are harvested.

Advancing from ugly stik....
Which stradic would you recommend?

Advancing from ugly stik....
Until now I've been using a Shakespeare ugly stik spinning combo for my finesse bass fishing, since I mainly use a baitcaster (pro max) for most bass fishing. However I realized that there are some techniques that I would be using alot with a spinning reel, so I've been looking for a good spinning reel or even combo to get instead of my ugly stik - between $100 - $200 - not sure whether to get a combo or not - as of now I've been looking at the shimano stradic reels and also the abu Garcia revo reels Help would be greatly appreciated....

Exposed Hooks in a Weed Filled Lake?
So there's this small pond I fish at all the time, and catch some decent sized bass there. The problem is the ground is covered in weeds and there are several fallen branches with one large fallen tree. I therefore stick to weedless lures like the Texas rig. However I've been wanting to use jerkbaits there and other lures with exposed hooks but my lure will get snagged in a second. Should I just stick to the Texas rig? Any advice?

What doors has bass fishing opened for you?
Well fishing is leaving me confused. I love it so much I want to find a fish related career so I can be fishing all day every day, but then again, people told me fishing is not fishing when it’s your job. Advice would be appreciated.

Ultralight fishing for bass
Would ultra light be good for trout?

90 degrees
So if it’s a sunny day without low light conditions and it’s 90 degrees, is it a bad idea to go fishing during that time?

Ultralight fishing for bass
So basically, I am currently using a medium action combo for bass fishing, but I’m thinking that might be too much of a heavy action rod. Would anyone recommend using an ultralight rod for bass?

90 degrees
Any tips for fishing 90 degree weather? It has been in the 70s here recently but all of a sudden there’s a heatwave and I can’t get the fish to bite.

What would be the best lures for the transition time between summer and fall?

Vegetation vs. Bite
But what if you set the hook into vegetation that you’re not sure about, and it gets snagged? How often does that happen?
-
Vegetation vs. Bite
But if your pond is very weedy, you’re going to be setting the hook every cast? The pond I fish at has a lot of vegetation. When I reel in after each cast, I always feel pressure either from vegetation or maybe a bite but I don’t know. I would be setting the hook 100x if I set it whenever I feel pressure.

"Dog Days of Summer"
Can bass even see at night?

Vegetation vs. Bite
I fish a pond with heavy vegetation at the bottom, and quite often, you feel resistance of the lure trying to maneuver its way through the vegetation. But how can you tell if the resistance is the vegetation, and not a fish? I don’t want to miss bites thinking it’s just the vegetation, yet again I don’t want to set the hook in case of doubt, and really all I’m doing is shoving my lure into deeper cover, eventually snagging it.

Smaller vessels......
Has anyone ever tried bass fishing from an SUP (stand up paddle board)?

Shy Bass.....
Just curious - Is it true the more a lake/pond is fished, the more “shy” the bass will be? One of my favorite ponds are fished very often by different anglers, and recently I haven’t been able to get a bite at all. I don’t think it’s because of the lure, because I’ve caught bass there on the same lure that now I can not catch anything on. Are the bass wary about these lures or any lures for that matter?
