    Welcome
  2. Roach Motels in rod boxes and other compartments. I spray in the in the bottom hull area through the floor drains and bilge area. Not to much of a problem, boat is in garage.
  3. I bought a pair of Smith Optics with green amber lens. All day in Florida sun and no problems. Not pushing Smith, any good pair of optics is a must have in my book.
  4. Welcome!

    Welcome!
  6. If I could only have 2 baits in my boat. It would be a plastic worm and spinnerbait.
  7. It all depends on the lake and depth of the water for me. Parallel is always a good option. I like to drag worms and jigs off break points. It's hot here and the fish are mostly on deep structure. Don't be afraid to try different techniques. The fish will tell you what they want.
  8. 66 years old and still fish all day. I mostly fish with my son is his boat. I have a great son who looks after me. When it gets really hot here in Florida he makes sure we have plenty of water and sports drinks. However father time has really slowed me down.
  9. I spin my old mono and fluorocarbon line off with a drill on to an old spool. Use it for filler when needed.

I have 2 Beretta 9mm compact mags. 13 round. Can I list them for sale. Do not want to break any rules.
  11. I own Curado 70's, Chronarch MGL's and Tatula SV's. I believe the Tatula SV handles small and medium baits for me.
  12. Welcome
  13. Welcome?
  14. Dobyns Champion or St. Croix Avid
  15. Dawn dish washing liquid works well. Very small amount on a wet rag. Rinse and let dry.
  16. All Dobyns here. The balance is well worth it. Customer service is 2nd to none.
  17. Congrats. Dobyns Fury are good rods for the price. I fish all Dobyns, Mostly Savvy and Sierra and one Champion.
  18. Diawa Fuego is a good solid reel for the price range. I use one on my flippin stick.
  19. If you just want to remold old plastic, you will need heat stabilizer. You can get by without it, but you will have to keep a close eye on reheats. Unless you want something special, saving money is hard to do.

  21. Hi all, New here, but not to fishing. I am 66 and still love a bent rod and tight line.
