anyone have both livescope and 360? If so, which would you go with if you had to just pick one? Thanks

Help...advice needed on setup!
That's interesting. Did you not want to use the humminbird universal mount for the 360? I don't think I want two new systems up front so trying to decide between 360 and garmin livescope. So if you could just go with one, it would be forward facing sonar? Any other thoughts? Thanks again

Help...advice needed on setup!
Thank you all! So do you think I should just start with mega 360 and then see if I want to add to it down the road? I’ve got one 7” at the helm. What additional screens would you get? Two 10” helix or solix? Or would you go with at least one 12”? Those things are expensive lol.

Help...advice needed on setup!
Ok, so I have been out of the electronics game for a few years. I have a 21' bay boat that I use mostly for bass fishing. Right now I have two 7" humminbird mega SIDI. At the console, the 7" is the biggest that will fit in that spot. So I'll probably need some sort of ram mount there at the console to have a second display. Up front I have another 7" helix on a ram mount for easy removal. I have a minnkota riptide with i-pilot that has a quick disconnect.. I like being able to remove everything for when we are just family boating. I am looking to upgrade all my electronics this winter. Can any experts share what you would do if this was your boat? I am open to either livescope or mega 360. I wish I had a solid installer that I could trust but I just haven't found them yet. I live in the triad area of North Carolina and there's just not many options. I have heard there are issues with spot-lock and livescope...have those been resolved? Is there a way to have livescope, garmin unit, and a separate humminbird unit on the front deck and have it all removable? Or should I just stick with one large humminbird unit up front and use 360? I included a photo of my boat. Thanks for your thoughts.

Which line do you use for which presentation
Thank you all for your thoughts! I think I am going to give FC more of a try. I switched my skipping jig rod to fc and really like it. I'm pretty good at tying the fg knot but is still really frustrating to tie...especially when it's cold or windy out and you need to do it on the boat. Still very early in the testing phase though. I have several reels with braid on it and I'll probably leave that on for awhile. Anyone have any thoughts on how often you put kvd line and lure on? after each outing? Thanks again everyone

Which line do you use for which presentation
May be a dumb question, but I notice a lot of pros use straight fluoro a lot (wheeler, Evers, blaukat…). What’s the reason that we all don’t try to copy them since they are at the top of the game?

Which line do you use for which presentation
Wow thanks for all the feedback! Any other thoughts? There’s a lot of variety. I’m leaning towards using fluoro more but just worried about more backlash issues.

Which brand fluoro? Same for all? Lb?

Which line do you use for which presentation
Straight fluoro or braid to leader? What lb test?

Which line do you use for which presentation
Hey I have been flip flopping between braid and fluoro for my casting setups. Just wondering what you all use for each presentation. Seems like there was a trend to go straight braid to leader for everything, but now I’m seeing a lot of pros go straight fluoro for a lot of presentations. Braid, braid to leader, straight fluoro, mono…bonus points for sharing lb as well topwater-walking frog Shallow crank (squarebill) deep crank blade bait/lipless pitch/flip swim jig bottom contact (fb jig, sh, ned…) spinnerbait, chatterbait

Ok great thanks! I just spoke with st croix yesterday and they are out of everything even remotely close to 7'm or mh in elite line and xtreme line...said looking at late December at the earliest...

Advice needed: Best St Croix rod (money no object) for lighter moving baits
Cool thanks. Do you feel the MHF can handle lighter (3/8 underspin) if needed? Does the mh sc act more like a heavy in other brands? Or is it pretty true mh?

Your Favorite Skipping Jig
Are you using this mainly when dock fishing or just going down the bank, hitting spots under cover? Do you pitch with this jig as well, or just skip? I'm trying to figure out if people carry a pitching setup and a skipping setup...or what? Do you use your skipping setup as your main pitching setup as well? Do do you switch it all depending on the cover and conditions? Thanks

Anyone have the Megabass P5 Tachyon Shaft?
I have been really impressed with it! Very sensitive! Using if for bottom contact (fb jig) and now going to give skipping and frogs a try. I already have a rod for frogs and skipping, but might be able to consolidate. I just prefer to have this rod in my hands...it's just that good!

Advice needed: Best St Croix rod (money no object) for lighter moving baits
Might change it up a bit. Anyone use the legend glass rods? Thinking about getting the 6'10MM rod for light squarebills. Anyone have any experience with this rod or any other legend glass rod?

Advice needed: Best St Croix rod (money no object) for lighter moving baits
So is their much difference between the elite 7’MHF and the elite 7’MF? You use both for jugs and paddle tails?

Advice needed: Best St Croix rod (money no object) for lighter moving baits
Awesome. I actually meant to say the EC70MHF since you said that was your favorite blank in the elite line. What do you use that for? I think I'll be using this rod and a general purpose rod with really good accuracy...Thanks again

Wow thanks for the help! Mind if I ask what models you have tried/have? And what do you use the ec70MF and the SCV 5C72MHM for?
