  1. I use it for depth marking when vertical fishing. I mark red/blue/green/black for different 10' depths when line is getting behind the boat.
  2. Just be sure to get trailer tires not car tires as the sides are too soft.
  3. I'm pretty sure that the Elite transducers have 2d sonar and down scan on them. I have an lss 2 and 2d sonar puck mounted on my trolling motor. Ethernet connection should be all you need for networking.
  4. It was always tough for me to get big fish on it. I've quit going down there since the lake is full of zebra muscles.
  5. Don't you think it is a bit under powered with a 115 on it.
  6. I use open hooks and pour my own jig heads. As for colors when we ordered we just called them up and go 1/2 dozen packs of everything that they had. I've caught fish on just about every color. It is what we use for ned fishing most of the time.
  7. What's a good price and what he'll take may be two different numbers. Most people think their rigs are worth more than they actually are. You have to decide what you will give and make an offer below that to see how much he is willing to wiggle. Go from there and see how it plays out. Some folks aren't willing to budge so you'll just have to open the ball and see how it goes.
  8. I'd take the boat and go fishing. It does have numbers and registration on it doesn't it?
  9. Book it out on NADA guides to see what it is worth.
  10. Put it on the motor and use it. I've only ever had one spun hub in my life.
  11. I'm used to the ride of a Champion 206. I haven't ridden in a Ranger for a long time. I'm just wondering how todays Rangers ride compared to Champions. I'm fixing to buy a new boat and have narrowed it down the the 520 C or the new Charger Elite which is a Champion 210. Either way the motor will be a Merc Pro XS 250.
  12. Pitzen for everything.
  13. Aurora Canvas in Battlefield MO makes some awesome boat covers.
  14. They should let you watch to see how it is done. I watch the tech every time he does anything to my motor.
  15. Maybe I missed it but what rpms are you running with your current setup?
  16. Get in touch with Mike at Seibert outdoors or Cadman.
  17. I normally carry 18 setups in the boat. I try to keep It to 5 or 6 on the deck at any one time.
  18. The only battery I have found that will run 2 hds units and an aerator then have enough juice to crank an Optimax is the 1150 CCA AGM battery from Sears.
  19. If you don't use your boat in the winter and only change the lube once per year, do it in the fall so that if there is any problem you'll have time to get it fixed before spring.
  20. I have several molds that I have made mostly from Bondo fiberglass resin.
  21. That is really nice and very fancy. My divided cup just has a piece of flashing glued in with JB Weld.
  22. Yes they are parasites. This is very common for summer pond bass. If you are eating the fish don't worry as they are 100% protein.
  23. There are always good buys on here in the flea market. Right now there is a Shimano Curado and a Citica.
  24. The body is that of a lmb not a spot. A better pic would make identifying a lot easier. Having the fish lying flat is the best way for us to tell anything.
  25. I found a rod maker who lengthened the grip by 2 inches and balanced the rod to use with a Curado reel. I really like it now.
