I have yet to use a braid that didn't lose it dye and turn white after some time. I have yellow gunk since I use the Hi Vis yellow.

I use 1/2 oz to make a 5" so you should get close to 40.

Around here tubes are the best sm baits I have ever found. 3 1/2-4" are what I use. I fish them as deep as 50' in the winter. I just go for a heavier head as the water gets deeper (1/4 or 3/8 oz.). When deeper than 25' I like to use a braided line with a fluro leader to give more sensitivity.

If your lake is Beaver the spinnerbait bite may be like up here (not good anymore). I go with jigs, senkos, and tubes. I have them in many sizes so I keep trying until I get the size that allows me to fish the way I want to. You also should be able to get up some of the streams and lessen the effect of the wind. I mostly fish Stockton and some days you can not get out of the wind no matter where you go.

If by falling apart you mean the skirts, get some wire from a hdw store and put those suckers on where they will never come off.

Check your owner's manual and see what it says. I hauled bass boats for lots of years with only a bumper ball.

Exactly and the type of baits. Jigs, senkos, etc. the guy in the back can do as well if the guy in the front cares and keeps the boat in position for the guy in the back to fish. A good spinnerbaiter or crankbaiter can rape the bank so the guy in the back only will get a few if any fish plus he can fish so close to cover that anything not caught may be spooked out by the boat.

Long term maybe cheaper. Short term no. I have $300 invested in injecting tubes. So far I have done 3 dozen. That is about $8 per tube.

I have had one for quite a while now. Most of the people who fish with me like it and use it. What I really like is taking it and using it in other peoples' boats. It gives me a place to have 4 rods completely out of my way instead of sticking up in the air as most boats don't have a decent place for guests rods.

I had a Falcon for one day. I didn't like it and took it back to BPS. I bought 4 St Croix Avids year before last and still have them, though I don't like them as well as my Gloomis rods.

To begin with your baits will be very expensive. Here is a possible breakdown on your first 100 baits. Mold $49 Lead pot $50 Hooks $25 Screw locks $20 Total is $144 or $1.44 for each head. So you will have to make a bunch to see any savings. That said, you can get into the making business and have exactly what you want the way you want it. I have accumulated close to 40 molds for jigs, spoons, spinnerbaits and lots of plastic baits. My latest venture is tube injection. That little project has already cost me $300 and I have only made a couple of dozen tubes but plan to break even one of these days.

If they are going to bring that puppy all the way back here to the plant in Lebanon, MO, you are going to be without a boat for a very long time. Unfortunately, your warranty doesn't mention time not or the water. If just says repair or replace.

That is news to me. The only Cobras with which I am familiar are custom made ride arounds from California. I'd be interested in knowing who bought them out. I kind of lost track of them after Charlie Luna sold out in 2002.

If you want it cheap or maybe even free check out hospitals and group doctors' offices. They get radioactive meds in lead containers. I got over 200# of it free a few years ago. If you have any metal recycling centers check them. I bought lead for .25 # at one a while back.

I use microsoft data base. It allows all I want and them some.

Go for the DI or 4 stroke because if EPA keeps going that will be all we are allowed to put on the water. Carbs and EFI have been banned from some waters for the last several years.

I use mono for cranks and braid for spinnerbaits. The braid on spinnerbaits allows me to feel subtle takes that I would never know about on mono until it would be too late.

When I swim a jig I rarely set the hook. I let the fish set it for me. I use several different sizes of jigs and that brings in several different styles and sizes of hooks.

There is a good chance that it isn't on the boat but on the motor. Check the lower unit to see if there is a small hole in the front of it. If it is and is clogged take a small 1/8" or less drill bit and twist it (by hand only) into the hole and pull it out. A couple of times like that and the hole will be cleared of debris.

I'm way the other way with my favorite jerkbait rod. It is a 6'10" Bronzeback that is medium light. It has been working great for me.
