  1. It's interesting their web site makes no mention of an aluminum frame which is a key selling point on most reels.......especially those under $100.
  2. I emailed Abu Garcia 15 mins ago asking what the frame was made of and I got a reply already "It's aluminum". That's the fastest reply I've ever received from a company.
  3. Tin, is the frame graphite or metal/aluminum?
  4. Is the frame graphite or metal/aluminum?
  5. I'm glad I'm not the only one that CAN'T stand it when he does that. LOL
  6. The only issue I very had was as you increased your trolling motor speed, the thing starts to rock back and forth. Had to take it out of the harness......not a huge issue but irritating. Here's another option. http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_75236_200001001_200000000_200001000_200-1-1

  8. The 1/8oz Rat-L-Traps are a great choice for river Smallies.
  9. Exact same way I store them! and it works better than anything I have tried. Allen After seeing "LBH Storage System" several month ago in a similar thread, I decided to try it on my next trip and have been using it ever since. The guys I fishing with would laugh when I through the bags in the boat for that days fishing. A couple of them stopped laughing and are now doing the same.
  10. I've been using the LBH Storage System. A couple of samples......works like a charm.
  11. Awesome lookin' rod........I'm not droolin'
  12. I think the lesson learned here is that if you started out with this statement, none of this would have happened. I think the key takeaway for all of us this: Be very careful in how you phrase things. There's a fine line between calling somebody a liar, and questioning their reasoning. It's all in how you phrase things. Well said. Bravo!
  13. My 1st was a Coleman Crawdad I picked up for $50 many years ago. A pain to load in and out of the truck by myself but a nice little boat. Sadly she's been sitting for quite so time. :-[
  14. Is that a Coleman Crawdad? Indeed it is. Thanx to LBH for taking the pic. I have one as well. It's been sitting for years but it served me well in its hay day.
  15. I've used the Berkley Strap-On TB when I shore fish for many years now. It's a tough little TB and you'd be suprised how much you can pack in it. http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_1560_100011009_100000000_100011000_100-11-9
  16. Maybe one day.
  17. Here's my nominee I've had it so long I can't ever remember what it's called. Not a hit or strike in all the long years I've had it.....maybe one day.
  18. These reels are way too similiar in appearence to simply disregard. These puppies are from the same gene pool (not sure which one but the same). Not that there's anything wrong with that.
  19. Hey Can you tell your source of reference for this statement. I have found that not to be true of Pflueger, I am curious where you got that from and if it can be documented. I may h ave the wrong info myself, that is why I am asking; Thanks Here's the new top of line Pinnacle Matrix II. Here's the Pflueger Trion I'm not sure who's making for who, but these reels are kissin' cousins.
