Anybody bass with Hot-N-Tots?
A voracious predator indeed Tom. i just looked it up and Storm lures began in 1964, I had no idea Storm had been in business that long. I'll be just as satisfied with Hot n Tots as Salmon getters as I would be as bass grabbers, if they never leave the tackle box it won't matter lol

Anybody bass with Hot-N-Tots?
Does anybody here cast Hot n Tots for bass? I am wanting to build me a collection of these to keep and use. Either the pre Rapala or post I think I will buy whatever I find used. I saw a guy on YouTube (super strike) bend the metal bill and used them as a top water twitch bait or perhaps a wake bait. I have one of the newer plastic billed lures I was given about 15 years ago but have never tried it.

Forgotten Lure Brush Baby
Thank you Mister Rat, I plan on getting some of the brush baby lures too. In the past 15 years I bought some used lures that had at least one of these lures in it but I didn't know what it was til now, I'll have to dig it out. Does either the Luhr jensen or the wordens have their brands on the lures or anyway to tell which brand I come across used and out of the pack?

Forgotten Lure Brush Baby
I just hit the buy it now on the 17 lure set of Timber Tigers on a salesman sample sheet (looked to be mostly shallow divers and in 17 different colors)... I'm not sure if I'm gonna use them or frame the set but if I do want to use them they do not come with split rings and hooks. Can anybody suggest the needed size of both split rings and hooks?

Spro fat papa 70
I also see there is a 55 size and have read it has a tighter wiggle? When would you prefer the 55 over the 70? The 2 lures I bought are 10-14 ft divers however I see this lure is also offered in a square bill version, has anyone any preference for the fat papa square bill over other brands?

Spro fat papa 70
I am new to Spro lures and just picked up 2 of the fat papa 70 lures. I got a 5/8 and 3/4oz models. I was surprised they are silent models, I suppose there are rattling models too? Has these lures been a go to lure for anyone here? Looking for any any feedback.

Lure Identification Help
I have a few of the Gilmore jumpers, if it is not it, it is very similar. They were made in Arkansas and are said to have been used to win the 1987 bass masters Classic

Are pretty lures just to catch fisherman?
They catch me regularly, every week or two. 99% of my lures have never been wet and I doubt I'll ever do any better to get below 90%. That said, I do buy lures without any thoughts of ever using them, just because the color, style, model or brand makes me bite. It's a d**n addiction!
- Can anyone tell me about this lure

Rapala Jerkbaits
I have always been a big fan of the Ohio made A.C. Shiner which is very similar to the floating Rapala. I use the shiner the same style as I do the floating minnow or Husky Jerk which is an erratic jerking retrieve without pausing at all, that method of retrieval has caught many hundreds of smallmouth for me in the warm months. Any brand of hard floating or suspending stickbait-jerkbait-ripbait is a winner to have and use year around. btw, my largest accidental musky catch came on an HJ-12... They will catch fish!

Older Pop max lures
We have twins. Great minds do think alike!! I had no idea that this pattern had that wonderful crackle belly paint, I am very pleased by the aesthetics alone. I had not thought about the chance that in the JDM lures that the plastic boxes were still produced and sold, is that what you're implying @A-Jay

Hello from the bluegrass state
New member but longtime reader. I have been a fisherman the same as many here since childhood. Back around 2005 fishing or rather the collecting of lures became one of biggest hobbies and I have collected many thousands perhaps as many as 5,000 hard bodied lures both old and new. From Heddon pumpkinseeds to today’s pop max by Megabass I received in the mail today. I have read the tackle section on here pretty much daily for years and I feel like I know a lot of you guys. I am best friends with the bait monkey and if I post I’m sure it’ll be in the tackle section. I’m glad to finally be a part of Bass Resource and I hope to hear from you guys soon.

Older Pop max lures
Can anyone tell me when Megabass stopped using the “coffin” style packaging for the pop max? The popper is in a color called pm Raigyo and has 2004 on the back. I just ordered it in the last couple weeks direct from japan. The finish and detail of the lure does not disappoint. Thanks
