I've aquired several of those over the years via yard sale tackle boxes and lure lots on eBay. Sadly I've neglected them too but I'll try to remedy that soon!

As you may know lots of company's put out injured minnows, Creek Chub seems to be most commonly found in wood and plastic. More detailed pics and pics of the hardware used will help.

Chk out the Heddon Moss Boss. There are a few vids on YouTube also. If you have ever dragged lures across solid mats and have bass explode on them you will be addicted. However any size fish will bust this lure on top of a mat

Try you one of those bass pro shops bubblin toads, it's $6.97 and cheaply made but it catches fish! It has a hard plastic plopper and makes a plop different in sound from my choppos and Whopper Ploppers...

I'm not sure if I have ever caught a fish on a buzzbait. I know, Its never too late to start. 2020 might be my lucky year lol. I remember owning some as a kid and I still have them just never used them much

I'm satisfied with the bass pro shops version of the whopper plopper both their double plopping model and the bubbling toad models. At $7-9 they have performed satisfactory for me.

When will these lures go off sale at $2.99? Corona fears kept me home this weekend and I blew my weekly lure play money on eBay. My monkey was very upset with me as we have been planning on getting some squarebills for weeks. d**n the corona my monkey and me gotta get to cabelas next weekend! Will I get 'em for $2.99 then?

I like the 2.5" AC Shiner (perch, sunfish, gold,) which is basically the same thing. Try 6 pound test P Line ccx line. I like the moss color. It has been good enough for catching a couple 30" musky when in search of little smallies and red eyes

I saw that vid last night and the inline spinner stood out to me. I don't order online much but if I happen across those in a shop, my monkey will be all over that ?

I use the VMC heavy duty swimbait hook in 7/0 with 3/8oz weighted keel. I use it with the 5.5" and 6.5" Shadalicious which look similar in dimensions to your lures. Cost is $6-7 per 4 hooks

The first fish of the year was caught today (16" Smallmouth) on the deadly Nedly, and boy did it feel good despite the rain I soaked up. Here's to 2020! That is all

Some new info I've seen from eBay... the 2 numeral we was talking about is the jr size 3 1/2" the good ones say MADE IN THE USA, they have yellow trim on packages right side. There are bunch of them on eBay for around $11.75 each there is also a floating model of these although I'm not sure if they were produced before moving production to China. The company when made in usa had a Arkansas address and used VMC hooks and possibly split rings. Ive done all this investigating to realize all this time I have the Chinese junk ones laid up ?

A little looking online and I found out RCstx released at Icast 2011 RCstx jr (which I have never saw in person) released in 2012 Icast from the get go fishermen was saying the split rings were bad and as usual everyone said change out the hooks... If you get any of the older ones Jedi are you gonna fish as is or change out the hardware? I'd like to see a report on the bait as it came in the pack.

I can only tell you that I just compared your pic to my lures from around 2014 or so... My packaging does not match that pic. My packaging does not have the yellow circle and print in the center of the card. In the pic where yours says suspending mine says Luck-E-strike and suspending is printed above that one the clear packaging... i too too am wanting to know which lures are which Do you see in eBay ad where it has a two digit number and then the numeral 2? Mine has the two digit number (which is color code) and numeral 1... The back of my lures says RC STX I have some crazy looking Rick Clunn cranks by them with lips similar to the Hot Lips Express, I think the back of the lure has a 2 by its lettering... I'll dig it out and see. Does anyone here have the STX with a 2 by it?

What year was this lure introduced? When did they go good to bad? I have a dozen unopened from around 2014. They're on my schedule to get around to trying in the future weeks or years. Great post Jedi!

A little bait monkey story to inspire lol about 8-10 years ago I was randomly looking online and saw there was a week or 2 left to send in Mt. Dew upc's to get free Mt. Dew branded and painted Rapalas... Yep, a sale coincided on diet Mt dew and enough was bought to get 6 diet Mt. Dew shad raps and an original floater... Seems like it may have required 10 cubes (guessing) to get one but I have all still unopened and probably never will and just another example of our addiction to lures and there was 6 months diet Mt Dew stacked pallet style in garage!!!

They're making sure everyone recalls and associates the Booyahs with the old Xcalibur lures and discusses it as we are doing lol i never understood why they put out a dozen lure types or more labeled "Excalibur" and the squarebills and lipless as "Xcalibur" It's kinda like the Zoom U-tail and U-tale I posted the other day anybody have any idea?

My wife usually never listens to me or replys when I'm sitting here going on about lures, but when I remarked that I'd like to go next Friday and grab hundred dollars worth of squarebills she actually spoke up and said "I bet you would" Bait monkey quieted down and I said well I guess I can cut it down to $90 and get 5 of each color ?
