I've always thrown a Rattlin' Rap more than any of the other brands. I've purchased several Red Eyed Shads over the off season and am looking forward to trying them this spring.

There is so much that I enjoy, from being in the boat with my son, uncle or cousin to trying new lakes, to the anticipation of a big fish and that occasional day with a huge number of fish boated. However, I always tell my son, the one thing that I love the most is setting the hook on a fish and feeling that weight at the end of the line. There is just something about it to me.

I just figure that it will happen at times and it's no big deal to me. I'm also an avid musky fisherman and expect it to happen when going for muskies.

I drive a Dodge truck with a cap. I have a drawer system in the bed. My son and I each keep one rod and one 3600 box with basic lures and terminal tackle in one of the drawers.

Although not a tip on how to catch fish at night; I find it very important to keep the boat very well organized while fishing at night. It makes for a much more enjoyable experience.
